  • I will Be going over how to do a big wire set up on your wire by using the true and tested model of the Chinese finger trap with bailing wire, duck tape and of course your handy-dandy linesman as a fun fact it’s always good to do a minimum of two back-and-forth trips but three or more is recommended
    But this is hands down the BEST BUDGET ELECTRICAL HEAD (for Big wire pulls )
    Tools Warhammer Approved Tools
    Linesman ‪@KleinToolsVideo‬ and ‪@KNIPEXofficial‬ I Use Both Personally I Like the Knipex Linesman a little Better for a couple of different reasons but there is no break in period but the Klein's are a little more Heavy duty
    Gloves Lift Safety - Makes a solid pair of gloves
    Drill ‪@MilwaukeeTool‬ Fuel Tools are the Best in my opinion
    i wanted to personally thank you for watching this video! Please like subscribe and share this information don't forget to watch other ‪@WARHAMMERELECTRIC‬ Videos
    Thank You,

    Thanks so much! I loved hearing about your tricks! Very cool! I’m looking forward to trying them! Thank you for sharing! I really appreciate the time you put in to creating such a great video!
    I loved hearing in the background, the beautiful voices of one or two of your children! I especially liked how you kindly put your finger up to your lips to ask them to be quiet. That was a sweet moment! I imagine you’re great father! Take care!

    Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Im not an electrician by any means but still have to pull wire sometimes and this is gonna be a heck of a lot cheaper than baskets that'll be used once a year. Thanks!

    That was good. Very good. No basket necessary

    I do a couple of things differently. First I use black electrical tape at the end to hold the wires together there, either straight or staggered. For large cable I'd run the basket weave down twice as far and then after twisting the ends wrap another piece of wire around them at the base and twist it tight. That will lock the back of the basket so while pulling the basket will tighten better instead of slipping off. I would also consider running another piece of wire from the rope down past the end of the basket and then tape over all leaving a bit of that wire clear at the bottom of the tape. After the pull you can grip the wire with your kleins and rip the tape all the way without having to try and cut it after the tape is covered in yellow 77 and slippery. Good job on showing people how it's done. I actually prefer making my own baskets over the factory ones. They tend to not be reusable after a hard pull and are expensive to toss after one or two pulls.

    Good video. I'm learnin' myself the best way to make up heads, and I like your style. One question though, given the size of your wires, you don't think you need to stagger them a little more to make it easy on the turns?

      what is a "rip wire"?

    • @WARHAMMERELECTRIC
      @WARHAMMERELECTRIC  3 роки тому +2

      It’s a separate piece of metal wire that goes down the whole length of the finger trap plus 6” so instead of the razor blade at the end of my video you just pull this wire up to cut the duct tape. Either way is completely fine
