Come join me as I start my new job at Ulta Beauty as a Seasonal Beauty Advisor!! I'm excited for this new journey as I transition over into the beauty world. Follow me as I show you everything I experience as a seasonal beauty advisor for Ulta Beauty during this holiday 2021 season.
Week 1 consisted of two 6:00 am shifts, Learning tasking, planograms, some register training, and video watching. Stay tuned for Week 2 coming soon!

I just got hired at Ulta to a few weeks ago. I love it so far. I have done a few early truck 6am shifts. The work days definitely go by fast there

Good luck I’ve been working at Ulta for a few months now and it’s so fun!! You learn so much along the way, it goes quick when it’s busy and it’s a great place to work at. I love my job there and hope you do too!!💗💗💗

I’ve been working at Ulta for a few months now and it will get more crazy as it goes especially now with holiday but definitely enjoy it!! It’s a great job when it’s a busy day it’ll go quick but good luck!!! I love my job at Ulta

I know it I’ll get better but sux being the new gal. 😅 some videos of how you coped with it? It’s hard connecting with people now day’s about anxiety/depression.
@@spicychip773 I’m good with the loyalty rewards card. I have a hard time selling the credit card (just not my thing to push it on people). I know it’ll come easier in time. So I just got hired and this is my first job.
I'm in training currently and about to do the truck thing tmrw.
I'm still nervous and paranoid I'm gonna have a bad time there cuz of the scary experiences i read some ppl had.
Congrats on the new job!! Try to stay positive, experiences are what you make of them! You'll see early who is problematic and who are good people, stay away from those that don't give off good energy. If you need anything at all don't be afraid to reach out to me on here or IG!

It all depends on your management, they decide your schedule. As far a which days you work it depends on the availability you give them when you first get hired. Good luck!

Good luck! They asked me about my makeup/brand experience. A lot of customer service questions. Different scenarios and how I would react. Why I chose to work at ulta.

I just applied and I hope and pray to god everyday that I get hired
Edit: I have applied got the interview and it has been a bit over 2 months since I interviewed and….. nothing. They have not called me back or told me that the position was filled. I’ve called multiple times to see if the position was open. They said they were going to give me a second interview. Or the hiring manager was busy and she would call me when she was available and…. She has not called be back at all my number is still on their file. So I believe I have been rejected or hopefully I get a call back. It’s hard to find out that the dream job you have been wanting to work at has rejected you. I would dream about working there and so far my dream job rejected me. But I’m not giving up hopefully God will allow me another chance

i’ve been applying to ulta and sephora for years and i finally got hired last week! if you really love it, it’ll come to you. until then, i’d suggest working at similar retail stores like tj maxx and victoria’s secret for experience as they pointed out to me that a large amount of staff worked those positions previously.

Hey girl! Thank you for sharing. I just got hired at Ulta for the same position. Can you tell me a little bit about the training? And how do you login to get into your training if that’s needed.
Hey! From what I remember there was a lot of computer training. Then there are also weekly training videos that everyone needs to watch in order to be eligible for gratis. Also, I highly recommend looking up how to color match on UA-cam. I didn't get any training for it, and it is a huge part of what you need to know in order to help customers. Any other questions, feel free to reach out!

@@staczs I am a night person too so this has been an adjustment! Lol I was organizing my closet at 10:00 last night and my husband goes don’t you gotta be at work in a few hours I’m like yeah 🙄😒 lol I’m always more productive at night. So this is gonna take some time to get acclimated.

Only management gets hours like that. Management are the only full time workers. Beauty advisors are part time so most I got was 20 hours or so in a week.

I’m guessing I’m the only one here who has been rejected from Ulta.
I don’t think so love. I’ve applied countless times and even interviewed prior to this latest time and didn’t get it. Take it as a sign that it wasn’t meant to be right now doesn’t mean it’ll be like that forever
It might be where u live bc with me it was very easy and my first day is tomorrow. I even interviewed when I was 17 and then when I turned 18 which was 3 days ago I went in today and they hired me. Just apply again 😊
