It's ironic that it doesn't work in the anime. In the manga and Crystal it is very effective and quite strong. It was capable of deflecting enemy attacks and also mutating Tellu who was the 2nd most powerful witch of the Witches 5 into a Daimon monster.
It was amazing that whenever Sailor Chibi Moon makes her introductory speeches in most of her appearances on "Sailor Moon S," the music cue was recycled from the "Sailor Moon R" TV series. Also, whenever Sailor Moon and/or the Inner Guardians make their speech in most episodes of "Sailor Moon S," the music cue for said sequence was recycled from "Sailor Moon R: The Movie."
While I won’t deny that the viz English redub in general is far superior compared to the first dub (mainly whoever voiced sailor moon back then, no offense to whoever she is), this daimon’s reaction to pink sugar heart attack in the first dub is funnier (she says what I think is “NO! AH! MERCY!” or something like that)
