I saw the videos posted by the other UA-cam guys and I liked what I saw, so I bought the $150 grab bag from Lucky Duck. I was extremely pleased with its contents and I wholeheartedly agree that it was the best grab bag ever. It is such a great feeling to actually get my money's worth when taking a chance. Lucky Duck is a great eBay seller who obviously cares about pleasing customers. 😊👍
The Roman coin is a commemorative for the founding of Constantinople, issued in the 330s AD. Looks like the Constantinople mint as well. The face on the obverse isn't an emperor, it's actually the avatar of the City of Constantinople. I have the exact same coin sitting on my dining room table right now. That particular coin is more common than dirt. Yours is a nice looking copy, though. As you say, nice detail, and I would definitely not clean it; that's a very pretty coin.
I got a cheaper grab bag from the same seller a couple months ago. I think I paid $155 with shipping, and by my estimate I got about $160 or so. I'm happy with it because it wasn't just the value, but the fun of opening the next thing.
Confused about the beginning where you said you had the grab bag sent to your friend so the seller didn't know it was you, but then you said he asked you what you like so that he could tailor the grab bag to you. Why would you have it sent to someone else if it was expressly made for you?
They asked what he liked, not who he was. If he ordered this lot posing as a random customer and Lucky Duck still asked him what he liked, we can assume that's his standard practice
@Habeas J seems like you wouldn't be making much money if your business model was not only to tailor each grab bag to that specific customer, and also presumably to juice up the grab bags that you know are going to a specific youtuber. I didn't watch the other videos, but I assume Rob finds treasure and the others didn't anonymize their names, and everyone in the online coin community knows who those creators are. Unless this seller is some kind of wholesaler or he gets some kind of discount on everything he's selling
Looking forward to my grab bag. Which will be sent to a different name as well. But won't my debit, cash app and PayPal really tell them who I am? Is there a different way to pay like a money order???
I had a great surprise find while searching a mystery grab bag from a Etsy seller. I received a 1880 O Morgan, but when I checked the mint mark, I discovered that it was the micro O vam. Happy Day for me. I don't know if the seller knew what he sent or didn't know about the vam.
Pretty awesome grab bag. I'm going to order from him again soon. I've ordered a $400.00 grab bag from a different seller a few days ago. The seller was talking silver and gold. No foreign or fillers. So I'm pretty excited for the grab bag to come in.
9:19 Many years ago, I was working in a hotel, one day a old woman asked me to help her load her suitcases into the car. I helped and she tipped me one dollar in quarters and one quarter was exactly like yours only 5 years older from 1925 🙂
I think the only one who was lucky was Lucky Duck because you are pricing half dollars for 15.00 that are worth like 10.00 If I am wrong guess you will be calling and buying all of Lucky Ducks grabbags.
It's all a big scam and charade between him, Lucky Duck, and the other UA-camrs he mentioned. He was never "anonymous". These kinds of videos piss me off because they are all tricking new collectors who are naive to this stuff

That dumb site game me $15 to use but I can't use it? The site functions won't work? Click on settings and nothing happens? They want me to verify my phone but there's no where to do that? WTF?
@@libertyraptor really? And it still won't let you make purchases? I created my account about a year ago so the app has changed quite a bit since then. I would try entering a live auction and clicking on your wallet on the right-hand side of the screen. Once you do that you should be able to double check your payment method and if necessary make corrections. If that doesn't work I would just try making a new account. I really like that app, you can find really good deals on precious metals and coins. If it wants you to link your phone or whatever like you said and payment method isn't the issue I think creating a new account might be your best bet.
Title word. "Infamous": having an extremely bad reputation; deserving of or causing an evil reputation; shamefully malign; detestable. Does not mean "really famous". The video was good though..
That was an amazing grab bag. How can a company make a profit with grab bags like that? I always thought there is a general 30 percent or so profit margin that coin sellers adhere to.
🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️he messaged you to ask you what you wanted, but yet you bought it under your friends name. He's not asked a single other person what they wanted exept you & rob finds treasures. You just cant be honest in any of your videos. You way under pay people that you buy collections from but your pricing this stuff way higher then what you would pay someone for the same item
No no no… Just because it’s silver doesn’t mean it’s great. You could get 1/2 of that as junk silver from a silver dealer. The numismatic value of those culls is minimal, and dude, I laughed out loud when you called it “high end”. Okay- you’re doing UA-cam content and it pays to be enthusiastic, but keep it 100. The seated half had graffiti on the obverse (you conveniently didn’t comment on). The slabs were excess stock of VERY common coins that are difficult to unload at a decent price on EBay. I don’t understand why you and Rob and the gang hype these bags. The stuff is ALWAYS guaranteed to be junk surplus just sitting around a coin store back room. The owners figured out a way to dump it for good money. Of COURSE they aren’t going to send things worth real money. Listen, a good grab bag would have genuinely collectible high grade coins that you WOULDN’T immediately dump on us through What Not ❤❤. You’d be excited to keep and enjoy them.
I agree that this is now the way of collectors that they hype up their junk on Whatnot to sell it and make a nice profit. A few years back I had Treasuretown make me grab bags and he always asked what I liked and got really creative with selections. Bought a few coins on Whatnot but after the credit was gone and prices going too high, these guys just holding on to hope they can ride out the train of easy buy and dumps. Agree that people will put too high of a price of these items and probably get loyal followers to pay more than it is worth. Just like when they send their stupid stickers, I throw them in the garbage. An actual grab bag is a fun transaction that isn't about making a video promoting five different entities and dumping it off for more than it is worth.
Staged.. staged.. staged.. You were never "anonymous" in this charade of an unboxing. You're helping Lucky Duck get more buyers, you're giving those other UA-camrs hype and credibility so they'll get more subs, and all the while you get sponsored for the whole thing by What-Not. It's the classic good ol' boy system of "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" between a group of people who are in the same business. Hope you're proud of your alleged authenticity, Max 🧐👏👏👏😒 Buyer and subscriber beware....
