Very nice. I have to agree on thunder tiger... They are bullet proof and my .18 TT engine has no cooling fins left on it and about 7 gallons of torture. Still starts up :)
You put a .28 in the menace??!! I found the thunder tiger engine to be more then enough power for me! also very easy to tune, holds a tune very well, and starts so easy and ultra reliable. Do you have any drag race vids of the 2 trucks togeher??
Is this trucks transmition heavy duty ? because .21 engines have lots of torq and could break the plastic gears easly , what about using a .15 3 speed Is not more efitient ?
Schumacher Menace 3 speed transmissions and belt are extremely tough. You would never think it with those thin gears but the nylon plastic gear is very, very tough. I have never broke a belt even running the powerful Axial .28 engine.
The honest truth the Thunder Tiger is more than enough power for the Menace. The Axial .28 and the Menace with different tire's preferrably with big spikes takes the Menace to a different level. The power is insane ! I dont have a drag race video of the two. I wish Schumacher would make the Menace again.
That's neat you use to work at Schumacher. What an experience. I like to see them bring a new nitro model out. As of now they have none. There all electric. There great Rc's. Go to the Schumacher Forum under the nitro catagory, I have posts of XTR World, Planet Menace and Havoc. Nice to meet you on here.
I used to build the Schumacher Nitro cars, working at the factory in Northampton, UK. I believe they have moved production to China now.
@yellad326 I had to drill in new engine mount holes on the axial engine.

Hi did you use the Fusion .28 engine mounts to install the .28 engine on the Menace .21 ?
If I remember I think I used the same one one there. Been a long time
Is it a direct drop in or did you have to make modifications?
Thanks

***** Has som similarities with the traxxas nitro hawk and kyosho st pro chassis . I love this layout of those times , were heavy duty trucks..
fabricio ayora These were the best trucks. Very fast and durable.

do you want to sell me one of them trucks
Ebay sometimes has parts. Parts is getting less and less available for these older Schumacher's as time passes by.
Where is it good to buy parts for the menace, other then buying from Schumacher it self.
Super duper trooper menace lol
