The Yamaha Tri-Z was most rare of the 3. All in excellent cond. Definitely hang onto them! Owned an '86 ATC250R bought new end of '86. Sold it in '92 😞. -Ohio
@@austinATV-ATC Best Quadracers are '87 & up. Tho ANY in decent cond is a win. If ya find a Quadzilla (500cc Quadracer) you really hit the jackpot. -NW Ohio
Can I get a Brapppp Brapppp😎 Nice collection!!!! I have 20+ Honda ATC’S, one of every size made. Still ride them to this day. One day I will restore and retire them. Enjoy💪
That is a beautiful sight you must be proud it make me happy and think of my childhood don't sell them you will kick your self i had 86 tecate 3 wheeler and i can't think about it i wish I still had it have fun
Tecate was popular. Knew plenty guys had one in Northeast where i grew up. I had new '86 ATC250R bk then. Tecates were faster but Honda had better suspension. Nobody had Tri-Z. Very rare. -NY
Just got my 85 done up! Love the tecate! I'm 50 now these things are legends! Parts are getting hard! Couldn't find a throttle cable for twist..had to get a used one. I'd buy a new one if anyone knows where they can be bought! Great video!
The Tecate was the last of the true man' bikes that will literally kill you if you let your guard down for an instant. I think I would rather ride a bull.
The Tecate is definitely a unique animal, it lacks torque compared to the other two, but the pipe hits like a freight train. The gearing sucks though, and the suspension geometry is incomparable to the 250R
@Austin ATV yeah agreed I think Mart Smith was the top Kawaski guy back then? I will still take a 250R over a Tecate any day though! I would like to have a Tecate quad one day, however, just for fun. Had a chance to buy a really clean one for 2000 back in the day before prices went crazy, wish I would have scooped it up.
Absolute legends from my childhood right there!
Absolutely 💯 -Ohio
I always loved that TECATE though
Im jealous! What a nice collection on 80's 3 wheelers!
What a beautiful symphony

I have a Tri Z in a garage in Wales and only ridden it once since 2003. My dream bike is the ATC250R
Awesome! It seems like the Tri-Z is more common over there than the ATC
That is like the damn power ranger gang! Tang tang tang! Super cool!

I never knew anyone with a Tecate.

Wow heaven!!
I am EXTREMELY jealous right now...
250r 👑
Friction wins when smaller tires and gas suspension made Honda top of the 3wheelers.
Although lacking in handling and suspension, most would be surprised at how the Tecate runs...Green means GO!
Now I just need to find a 2nd generation Tecate three wheeler!
had a 84 250 loved it , had the twist grip throttle

@@austinATV-ATC yep awful suspension and no bottom end or midrange, strictly top end power
@@jesseison-bowman3964 That's why they did so good on flat tracks back in the day.

Kawasaki was the most aggressive and Yamaha lasted the longest
Luckyyyyy
