I dont think we should put two girls against each other when there both amazingly talented. They both deserved the best and so did others in glee like kurt, Tina, santana, and more I think they all should have gotten more solos equally.

This was Michele's best solo as Rachel, with the exception of her first take "..Feel my Love" as she had to control various emotions and memories with Cory while singing in THAT room. But this song wasn't at the level of Celine's masterpiece vocal control. However, this was a amazing performance of why the star of Glee was the star.
I love this dynamic when Rachel is in doubt and Finn always knows what to say to make her keep her shit together. I think in the modern often judgmental world with it's unrealistic standarts it's the best thing a man (or a woman) can do for a woman: just keep telling her she's fine, remind her to injoy herself and help her reduce anxiety. Sometimes it means telling all this things to yourself
What i lOve with this solo is the simplicity of it. No need for any choreography or drama around, just a song and voice telling an emotion. Beautiful !
