An American, i lived here for a year in 96'. Part of my heart is still there. If i drink a Riegele doppel bock and watch this i would likely cry.
Riegele brew some nice new beer that even won a kind of‘ Beer of the Year‘ award some years ago.
I love Augsburg, my birthplace, so many beautiful memories, spent so much time on the Lech river.

From what I know, there was a Slavic settlement before Augustus came and murdered Slavic people and took over their land.
too bad there was nothing shown on the former US presence in Augsburg.
I was born there in the 80s (my father in the Army). I would also like to see what the US military presence was like back then.
