Nobody can know how it really was, but I feel that this movie was by far the best depiction of how life of the Crusaders, the Christians and other people in that area was back then. I felt totally immersed. Such amazing costumes and sets. Also, the chivalry was presented so well. Great movie, great history drama. btw, that's a whole lot of flags right there

I am pretty sure he is but, to formally identify him as a saint, it is necessary to have at least two miracles performed because of his intercession. Saint Louis, the king of France, was canonized because sick and invalid people were miraculously healed when they approached his body. I don't know if such miracles occurred with Baldwin.

Kingdom of Heaven(2005) was a great movie overall albeit having some historical inaccuracies. Some great performances by the actors.Beautiful movie.The 2 main charactors of Orlando Bloom as Balian of Ibelin & Eva Green as Sibylla of Jerusalem was great and verymuch entertaining to watch.Eva Green was stunning as Sibylla & her acting was great.However Edward Nortons Acting as King Baldwin IV of Jerusalem is on another level!Especially wearing the facemask on the whole movie(It was more likely that the leper king in actuality did not were a facemask according to historical sorces!).The voice,vocals as King Balwin IV,gestures,head movements,etc...was great Overall great performance!
I watched the film just a week ago and I did not know then who was playing the King when I watched it. Strange feeling remained after. I was somewhat amazed that playing a masked pesron the actor still did perform so good. And I was intrigued what exactly caused my attention to his acting and then I realised it was simply how he moved his head. There was something mysterious about it. And when found out it was Edward Norton I instantly reminisced his other roles and his peculiar head movements then. I think it was a pefect combination for Director to chose him for the role. Wondering whether Ridley Scott would thought something similar.

The movie is not accurate, he did not have missing fingers and his face was mostly untouched.
