Nice Guys! This is the first rc chassis my students build after learning to build/fly/repair flitetest. We currently have 45+ running in our Eurotruck racing series, with a lapmonitor system on our Pool noodle/pvc track…..with Michelin tire bridge😎……my student learned that just as in flying…..it’s the Pilot……not the bearings😎😊
@@andrewortiz687 I've my car built but haven't actually got it going yet. still a shelf queen. I'm no expert on servos and generally use the more basic ones. do the job for what I do
In the mechanical part only of the TT02, my personal record is 34 minutes, plus the installation of electronic parts 18 minutes... times without any type of work on the body. I was inspired that day lol!!
PLEASE!! Post a video of how to do the magnetic body mounts. I've got a tt02 drift chassis I just built with me kid and I do not want the body posts going through that sweet sweet civic hatch body!!!
Buckees lol. I've got hoodies and shirts for the family from buckees. 😎 1 tip I got for building kits are flush cut snippers. I cannot stand the nubs and those will cut the pieces loose from the trees almost flawlessly. Otherwise you've gotta sit there and trim them all with a knife and that adds a lot of time. Might just be me but I can't stand the nubs left on the pieces lol
Nice job on the build.I wish as you have suggested before.I wish all builds, and parts would come with instructions.I am thinking of accessories for the scx24. Oh also nice haircut ext.makes you look younger. Great video as all ways. Happy New Years to the both of you and your families and subscribers.Stay safe, and Happy RC.☮
I like the TT-02. I do measure the bearings with calipers (yes always replace the kit crap) some are close in size. I also have always replaced the shocks. Tons of upgrade parts for cheap to have fun doing.
I built my honda civic eg6 in a 3 days of 3 hours each. Put a beautiful yellow on it. It's a beast. it's the "drift" edition even though it's 4wd so I'd rather call it a powerslide kit.
Looks great! I've literally never built an RC, but I'm getting closer to building up the courage to do so. I think we all need an Ethan to build an RC with 😉
Takes me about an hour an half to build one (chassis that is) an don't need the instructions but do have to look at it to see what wheelbase it is etc that's it, I built 17 TT02 kits last year the body decals is the longest part especially on race cars
Just bought a TT-02 kit but I got a little scared when I read the instructions. Is it really that hard to assemble all the electric parts and some of the other harder stuff.
I like to only use hand screw driver going in to plastic not power tools just me. Never want to strip out the plastic but as I say just me being cautious when building the chassis parts great job anyway.
I connected mine on Green = Blue then Yellow = Yellow.. but the car won't move and i'm just getting a beeping sound from the motor. steering works though. can anyone help?
Buckee's 😝can the beaver come out and play? I got railroaded into buying a TT-02-E just to get the body out of the kit to mount on a MST chassis. ( Beaver, mount. See what I did there?) So I have this TT-02 chassis that I didn't have a use for and the market is flooded with these things so about nothing for a resale value. So it went in the storage room. I have seen videos on UA-cam of these cars being modified into competent drift cars, not great but reasonable as a entry level drift car at minimum expense. I am going to steering rack and links and upper arms for the front suspension and delete the front differential. Bargain basement drift car.
Not a legit time. You are familar with RC assembly. You didn't count the time to separate the hardware and lay it out. Your familiarity greatly shortens the assembly time as a new person would need to take the time to verify every screw, every part. You also used a power tool to go faster. Your assumptions could cause someone watching g this video to damage their car
It’s called a speed run. Just because I’ve built one kit in the past definitely doesn’t make me an expert. The first ever kit I built was a very similar experience. I used a cordless drill. I wouldn’t really consider that out of reach of most people. I think it was like $40 on amazon. I have more expensive screwdrivers.
"Way too much... Perfect." Nice VGG reference there guys, I got a good laugh out of that one.
The block Audi👍👍nice job guys
Thanks!!

Very cool!
Ethan killed it on the paint. Good job fellas
Thanks! We have a crazy project coming up
thanks for the video. I've a tt02 kit ready to build
What servio did you use in yours? I’m shopping and jumping back into the hobby after 4 years and 3 stolen cars
What do you recommend

Thanks!
It's Leah Block's UrQ, nice tribute. Good job guys

Thank you for sharing this. Also the bearing kit is a great upgrade. Keep it up
It sure is

I recently built an Injora trailer. Zero instructions. I had to use photos to figure out how it all went together. Happy new year to you too brother.
Hey what tools would you recommend for this that are commonly used amongst these rc platforms
RIP ken block , he built that audi with his daughter as her first car
Yup. We were devastated (like so many others) to hear of his passing.
the Audi quattro

Yellow is my favorite color for a civic!
What process do u use for the diffs no matter what I do I can’t get past putting the diff cover on without something binding
Hmmm. Are you using the right spider gears?
Looks noice! Needs some PS31 Smoke to add to scalism.
Agreed.
where do i put the green wire from the motor?
Lia block’s Audi! Sick!!!
Yup!
Enjoy the weekend great channel
Thanks, you too!
does the kit comes with all the electronics?
Everything except a radio
Everything except radio and servo.
@@10thScaleGarage do you recommend a good servo and a good transmitter

Awesome job! What size hex hubs does it come with? Thanks!
12mm
Front foam bumper is so old fashion but works perfectly even in 2024 like it worked in 1999

Nice! I think I’ve done it in about that amount of time, but I’m usually not filming when I do it. Haha.

LIA BLOCKS AUDI so fire great build
I noticed that arrma talion box, do I know something I shouldn’t?
Soon.

Have a good time
Nice car
great job on the build...i don't have the nerves to do that myself lol
If I can do it, you definitely can.
Its easy. Just 1 step at a time 😎
The real question...
Hie long does it take to apply all the stickers on a rally car?
I told you guys that once you built your first Tamiya, you'd be hooked. Lol
You were absolutely correct.
I connected mine on Green = Blue then Yellow = Yellow.. but the car won't move and i'm just getting a beeping sound from the motor. steering works though. can anyone help?
Does the same thing happen when you reverse them?
@@10thScaleGarage yes
Tried calibraging it, still the same
Cutting the stickers and placing on the body can take as long as building the chassis.....
It's Lias ❤
#43FOREVER
Looks good, and another 2 hours or more if you cut out all the body decals/stickers and put them on, that was the longest part for me
Same.

My old D Class Mercedes-Benz was to legit awd and fast as ahit for the yr 2000

Wayyy to much, perfect lol VGG fan?
Dude, the chassis you built had gold colored rims. But that's not what was seen after the shells were placed on the chassis. WTF!?
