Hey I was wondering if you can program the key Fob without the original key fob to start the mini. I lost my key so i wouldnt be able to put the key in like you have it at the beginning of the video

Hi, I have a 2007 Mini Cooper and when I insert the fob it's saying no key I bought a new battery Any insights would be greatly appreciated. There is no Mini Cooper dealership where I live and it would be a three hour tow bill Is there a certain cord I can purchase to do this myself ? Will I be able to do this on a MacBook? I only have the one car and car rentals are getting expensive. I was able to buy a new used OME key fob. I appreciate your time if happen to read this comment and reply. Thank you :)
if the key is bad you need to order a key from the dealer you don't need to take the car there or you can take the ews box out send it to me i will fix your key
where did you get the key fob from and is this for keyless start version? I am thinking of getting those from China but not sure if it will work for my mini R56
Hello, I have 2010 MIni Base. One of the key fobs started failing today. I can lock and unlock the door but can not start the car. Can it be fixed? If so, what would it cost? Or how much would be for a new one? I'm in MN. Can you do it remotely?
are you sure the key is bad or something else you can send me the cas module and i will make a key for you or order one from your local dealer it will come programmed
@@BestCarFixes the key fob I was using stopped working yesterday. I can lock and unlock the doors but car won't start. I went home to pick up tool to replace the battery and grabbed the other key fob. Tried it and worked fine. So, not sure what's the issue. with the one malfunctioning
I don't have an ignition to put a regular key in - it's just the fob you insert into the dash and it's push to start. It's not registering, it just saying no key when I put it in ... Would I send you my vin number and everything to program it to my car so I can drive it (if your making me a key ) And from what I am understanding there is no way to re-program the key I purchased today from the junk yard? Everyone is telling me something different and the car rentals I can't afford it - I'm 2 and a half hours away from closes dealership. My car is in a parking lot at the grocery store .
@@forevermissed2860 I ended up buying a new fob at the dealership. You give them the VIN # and it comes programed . Paid $ 194 for it (in St Louis Park, MN). I needed it right away. If you need the key that is attach to the fob, it's extra, don't know how much
@@martinbuteler3379 your lucky , when I called the dealership to order a fob they told me it would arrive in 3-4 weeks... maybe because I'm in Canada ? I literally just returned my rental $140 a day plus filling the tank gets expensive. So I'm out a car now until this fob arrives.
Where can I get 'HTag Pro' that puts the key when reading it? Can I replace it with something else?
