Hi Jess, I’ve used many of these methods in my bullet journal including, sticking pages together, covering with washi tape (most recent), using white out tape (most common), leaving the mistake, and LoLing the mistake. I always enjoy your content. Thank you. ♥️
I use correction tape or cut a mailing label to fit the area. Less often, I use a post-it note similar to how you used the deep yellow scraps to cover an area. Practical function always wins over aesthetics.
I usually use a white gel pen or layer over it with paper or something else. I have had somewhere I felt like it was beyond fixing & didn't want to live with it, so I glued the pages together.
I usually fix mistakes by gluing a piece of paper on top of it or, just using correction tape. Sometimes it happen that I glue two pages together. That is it❤️
Most of the time I just skip a piece of paper on the top. Have a lot of Dutch doors in my journal, and that comes with also a lot a waste of paper, which I hate. Doing this allows me to use those wastes too ! I also have a white gel pen but it’s not working really well so I barely use it. Aaand finally, I got a whiter (I have no idea what that thing is name) for the first time in my life, and that’s incredible.
Great video. I have called out mistakes which gives me a laugh when I go back and look at them. My current future log has 31 days in June and Oops! next to it..
My most used fix is probably the white gel pen and the sticking in BuJo paper over it. Also a combination of the two. I ALWAYS white things out before I stick something on top for some reason :'D Even if it's an opaque thing.
I use a combination of "there aren't any mistakes, just happy little accidents" and "yay I get to glue stuff in!". I do have correction tape, but most often I find it's too much effort to actually use.
I almost exclusively use the Frixion pens. They are so great for reducing anxiety. Also, for the A&O kraft paper, one of the Acrylographs in the "cool fall" set matches that paper almost perfectly.
If I make a mistake, I just write the right word on top of it, and that’s it. I don’t clean anything up or anything since I don’t have a white gel pen, or stuff like that, and I don’t want to glue pages together. My February set up is full of mistakes and misspelled words lol
I usually just cross the word out and write it again if there's enough space or try to rewrite over the word if it's a little bit possible (as for the wrong letter vs. correct letter's shape) (well sometimes even if it's not possible, which leads to a big mess, ending up with crossing it out and write again lol). I don't do fancy decorative layouts so mistakes don't bother me that much. (not that I didn't watch this video to get inspiration for the case I would need it some day :) )
i use correcting tape. But often i do nothing cause i dont really care about perfection, my bujo is essentially a tool to make my life easier and more complete. It's a way not an aim.
Depending on the mistake I usually either use a white paint pen, cover things up with other paper and turn it into a scrapbook style page or just ignore it. This month for example my monthly calendar title says Fairytail instead of February but since that’s my theme and the cover page says February I just left it.
if it's really bothering me I'll use correctin tape, but if it's a minor thing then I usually just ignore it because it won't bother me that much, or like if I'm writing in what I did for the day and I misspell something terribly I'll just cross it out and rewrite it
I'm still using the original Ryder Carroll method right now so I just scribble it out or ignore it, but this will be helpful when I get up the energy to do more creative things in my BuJo! Also, where do you usually get your washi tape? You always use such pretty ones!
I usually don´t do anything about the mistakes. But when i misspell a word in my daily planning (not in headers) then i just cross them of and write them again.
Unless it's a header i just leave it. But I have just printed some boxes on sticker paper for my daughter's planner as she didn't like her wobbly lines.
Oh god, I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to my bujo... such a pain in the... my preferred way to hide a mistake is UNFORTUNATELY ripping off the whole page 😫 but I'm also using a white pen 😅
Don't fix, use washi tape for taping together two sides, use white jelly pen, continue writing in a way that shows what's wrong and that I have corrected it (if that makes sense).
Any correction fluid or tape type product doesn't work for me, it is always going to be a different colour from the paper and fountain pens won't work over these materials and with fluid or white pen the ink just dissolves and goes into the fluid. Sticking paper over the top is good in most circumstances but it will leave a raised area over the mistake. So my two options are only really to style it out as something else or just to start again. Doing nothing would be ideal for me if only I didn't get disproportionately frustrated by reading a mistake.
If you used a friction erase writing utensil and lost your work to heat unintentionally, you can stick it in the freezer to get it back
I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS. Your voice is so soothing and sweet!

Haha, oops! 😄 I think it adds a bit of character to our journals 😋💜
I usually use a gel white pen, cover with journal paper, or sticking pages together if the mistake is too big or I don’t like how the page turned out.

Happy little accidents 😄💜 Yeah I pretty much never use my correction tape (and it kinda shows; it's so dang old and doesn't lay down smoothly AT ALL)
Whiteout is my most used
Great tips! I’m a big white pen user, but I’m planning to incorporate more stickers, washi, and different color papers in the future.
Same! Literally while making this video I was thinking about how I can incorporate sticking more things in to my journal 😋💜
I almost exclusively use the Frixion pens. They are so great for reducing anxiety. Also, for the A&O kraft paper, one of the Acrylographs in the "cool fall" set matches that paper almost perfectly.
Oh cool tip! I’ll have to swatch mine on the Kraft paper!

I just leave them as they are, so that when I look back at them, I can just see, reflect, and laugh on it.😀
Love this vid tho❤️❤️
Thanks!!

A good mentality to have 😊💜
The thumbnail is sooo cooL!
Haha thanks! 😄💜
@@JashiiCorrin no prob!

Should have put that one down as a tip! I'll have to make another updated video in ~2-3 years 😅😋💜
Writing over whiteout is awful. Never looks good for me.🙄. These were such great tips! I love that they are all in one video!
I feel you with the whiteout thing 😅🤦♀️ Glad you liked the ideas! 😄💜
I'm still using the original Ryder Carroll method right now so I just scribble it out or ignore it, but this will be helpful when I get up the energy to do more creative things in my BuJo!
Also, where do you usually get your washi tape? You always use such pretty ones!
Thanks! 😄 I got most of them from a combination of my local craft stores (Spotlight, Warehouse Stationery, etc.) and AliExpress
Thank you!!!!!
Most welcome! 💜😄
so so cute wonderful and thanks for your advice
Most welcome! Glad you found it useful 💜😄
I'm definitely gonna save this for future reference 😅
Haha, it's a good idea to have a handy reference! 😄💜
Yes!! These are great tips. I wish I had seen this a year ago 😂
Slightly disappointed that you didn't write 'think before you ink' haha ;) great video!
Haha love the slogan! 😂💜
Hey 👋 what brand is the caution tape? I can only find ones that are non adhesive or too wide for journalling. Thanks in advance x
That’s a great question 😅 I’m not too sure, but I’ll do some investigating and get back to you!
@@JashiiCorrin thank you 💕💕
Can't say it's the same one, but it's the same design tape: amzn.to/3aFrXYp
Hope that helps! 😊
@@JashiiCorrin thank you. Sadly not available in the uk, but thanks for your help xx
So far gel pens or changing it into a design element.
I’m a white out user. The white gel pen never seems to work for me.
Fair enough! At least the whiteout is very much made to cover things 😄💜
I usually don´t do anything about the mistakes. But when i misspell a word in my daily planning (not in headers) then i just cross them of and write them again.
I totally forgot to include the crossing it out tip! 😅🤦♀️😋

Aww that's good of you! 💜 yeah, headers I'll typically try to make a "proper" fix for, while smaller mistakes I just leave 😋
Oh god, I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to my bujo... such a pain in the... my preferred way to hide a mistake is UNFORTUNATELY ripping off the whole page 😫 but I'm also using a white pen 😅
That's hard 😢 At least mayhaps you can use any of the "unaffected" parts of the ripped-out page as scrap paper? 😅
Don't fix, use washi tape for taping together two sides, use white jelly pen, continue writing in a way that shows what's wrong and that I have corrected it (if that makes sense).
when on white paper the white gel pen, but currently i'm on craft paper so i just leave stuff in.
Fair 👏 I think there’s one of the Acrylographs that’s a good colour match for Kraft; moth wing maybe? 🤔
@@JashiiCorrin I’ll give those a try

Mostly white out and internal tears.
Can certainly related to internal tears 😝💜
