Awesome job on your run! I’ve used your mage guide vid to tweak some of my mage play. We (my guild and I) ended up downing Naxx 25 last night pretty easily. I topped some charts for some bosses so it’s nice to see that we aren’t useless with the other class buffs hah
Would it be better for dps during burst phase to pop all cds and just spam arcane blast till either hero is done or mana is zero then Evo back up and resume ab/am rotation?
It is not, check the description in my Arcane guide for a graph which shows that AB spam is only a little more dps but costs waaaay more mana. You also need evo even if you don't spam AB so you could only afford what you're suggesting on extremely short fights
Hi Crateria, quick question. If I am a troll mage, what should my opener look like? I am wondering what is the best combination of buffs to pop to avoid haste cap (lust, veins, berserking, engi gloves, haste pot). Should I just pre-pot potion of wild magic with all haste buffs?
Just started watching and was wondering during the patchwork fight you often dropped ab stacks with procc after just 3 stacks. In your guide video you said ideally after 4 and no more than 6 casts you drop the ab stacks. During some testing on dummy I found that even with 4 casts and consistent proccs or clearcast proccs I run oom within a very short time (without raidbuffs and Evo used though). So would it be better to go for 3 stacks during bloodlust/burstphase when missiles proc ?
Yeah I didn't know kill time and was playing it safe with mana so was running more of a 3,5 or 3,6 rotation, if you're having mana issues that's definitely the way
I noticed myself having to do this last night in Naxx too, especially on Patchwerk. For the sake of mana efficiency you may have to sacrifice DPS to use a proc as soon as it hits to save mana.
You are great but, man... Show some balls and play Fire! It's viable even for a realm first.... You are basically re-playing Wotlk with the most boring spec ever, don't even know how you are having fun with it.
@@TBxMASTERx yes, Fire is a lot more fun and is not even close. You have a Dot to control (living bomb) and a debuff to keep tracking (scorch) if no warlock. Plus animation in the Fire mage rocks.
@@simonedylan6581 wow pressing LB every 10secs so much fun lol. Every spec is more or less the same level of boring. If you say the "animation" or the "feel" is better then that's different. But playability is all the same. Arcane actually requires a bit more of brain so you don't go OOM. Fire is just pressing 2 buttons and keeping up a dot. Easy.

Wild magic for sure, and you need to use blast exclusively until you have 40% mana
Nice job on the run!

So enlight me how is fire much more fun? Spamming fireball until you get a Pyro proc? Yeah so much more engaging lol.
