    Genius!!! What a fantastic yet simple way of painting with a “clean” edged canvas. Rebecca, I have learned so much from your videos. I come away with a tip or two, some small many grand after each one. You are so organised. Thank-you for your time and energies.

      Thank you, you're kind comments made all the time I put in worth while. I'm so glad this helped and I'm going to be doing this on all my canvas' going forward as it makes them really clean as you said.

    Very nicely done. I really enjoy your Diamond Painting Videos. I have suggested several of your videos to answer questions in groups since I began in the craft.

      Thanks, I find it works great and is cleaner as the washi tape can sometimes peel up.

    Thank you for sharing this wonderful tip! I have a very furry dog and her fur always ends up along that edge because of the way that my work station is set up. I will give this a try on my next project!

      Glad I could help, it doesn't work on the poured glue with clear covers, but works great on the others.

    This is a great tip! I'll be trying it on mine... Also, how do you get rid of the ink that's printed on the canvas? E.g. the DMC code and the Chinese markings?

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  5 років тому

      For the print I tend to just cut it off when framing. That or you could cover it with coloured tape.

    I would like a tip for my problem. I did 6-7 canvas’s no problem and now it has happened on the last two. I am diamond painting along and then some drills slide right off. It happens in many sections. What can I do to make the drills stick? Do you have to make a video for others? Thank you, Ricki Lieberman 💚💛🧡💜❤️💙💕

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  4 роки тому

      Hi Ricki, I've not had that problem myself but a little PVA glue should help them stick, some also use nail varnish (though I'm not sure how that would work). I hope that helps.

    Is there such thing as a non adhesive diamond painting where you apply the glue yourself.?

    Suggestions for it the tape breaks/ripping on an angle?

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  3 роки тому

      I just then start the process of rolling/pulling it up again.

    Interesting. I saw a demo of this technique but the person cut through the canvas. Not sure that I can do it. However if the canvas is cut we can just tape it across the back. Thanks!

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  5 років тому +1

      Oops, that sounds like the demo went bad. You really don't need that much pressure - just make sure your blade is sharp. If it doesn't cut through you can always go over it again and as you said, worst comes to worst then tape it up - or it's already for framing.

    I done this and most of it came off easy like that but then I had a canvas that had it all over in like splatters and that one I couldn't clean up. What can I do for that if I have another like that??

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  2 роки тому

      If it's a poured glue canvas (they tend to come with a clear cover) then I just cover it in washi tape to stop the sticky picking up dust.

    Awesome video...... I’ve seen this a few times and prep my canvases this way too! What is your method for placing your diamonds, where on the canvas do u start? I love all of your wonderful videos, tips and tricks. Please keep them coming. Have a wonderful day and enjoy ur crafting! 😊💕

      Thank you. I start my canvas in many different ways. On a small one I tend to start at the 'boring bit', the section that will have the least affect on the overall painting and save the bit for last that will make a difference. For bit ones, I often start in the top or bottom right, but I am right handed.

    Thanks for the tip! May I ask if this is a custom canvas and if not, what is the name of it and where did you purchase it? Thanks in advance!

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  5 років тому +1

      You're welcome. This isn't a custom. I got it from the Mycella store on Ali Express (I have just posted the unboxing) but you can find it here: www.aliexpress.com/item/Cartoon-Camera-Beautiful-Girl-5D-Diy-Diamond-Painting-Full-Embroidery-Cross-Stitch-Kits-Home-Needlework-Christmas/32829356994.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.87d64c4d2n5Tx1

      Glad I could help, it took me long enough to do it this way. I used to use talc, then washi tape and now I'm using this going forward.

    Is there a way to remove the color code as well without cutting it off?

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  4 роки тому

      I've heard nail varnish remover works, but I've not tried it yet.

  • @sylviegenest1888

    How do you remove it when it’s a partial canvas?

    • @addmorezest
      @addmorezest  Рік тому

      You can only remove the glue when it's double sided tape. As partials are poured glue it won't work. I tend to seal partials when completed with a thin coat of PVA glue. Once dried the rest is no longer sticky.
