synthetic paper just like yupo paper
Alcohol ink dries very quickly so I paint immediately with acrylic paint

That is Alcohol, you can also use isopropyl

It is alcohol ink I blow on 👍
Can I paint the surface with acrylic paint and then use alcohol inks over it?
you may well do it but it will not have the same effect

Every time I blow through a straw it collects saliva. Do you have a recommendation for this?
It's the same for me , you can't avoid that when using straws, just wipe it up with a piece of cloth or paper towel
Zimino Art Hi 😁 I was watching Tim Holtz on his latest video with the new release of colours. Listening to him he seems to be very new to the way many use AI , he was more into using card stock scrap booking etc, and was saying how many are doing art like yours. He said that using a straw to blow the ink was very dangerous for your health..mmmmm (I have been doing it to) that when you blow out, the fumes from the ink are sucked back into our lungs ....true ??. I really don’t know but do know that they are toxic and to be used in well ventilated area.....so he has this new hand tool that will be released in February along with a new range of awesome colours....it’s like a little hand air pump that you apparently don’t need to press much to get the air out to move ink....so I thought I would let you know so you can check it out and decide for yourself.....it might just be to get people to buy his puff tool who knows?? ....I don’t know if I would be able to manage to pump it for long due to my joint and hand problems but it does look interesting....anyway check it out .....you were the first person I thought of when he said not to use a straw....lots do, but you are only one of a few AI artists that I follow on utube 😄😄 another great piece too !, ❤️❤️
Use the yeti metal straws...they help alot

I buy my materials locally here in Denmark, so you just have to look up "Catalyst wedge" on Google and see where you can buy one.
the blower is an old blow dryer, I do not where to get just such a but any blow dryer can do the job.
The alcohol is from Matas also here in Denmark, you can buy any 99 % you can find
it will work with the ink 👍
So were the colors the acrylic paint or alcohol ink and what you were dropping was it just regular isopropyl alcohol? I'm a little lost

I do this because it stops the Ink from expanding
then I can decide for myself how much it should fill
the more you can hold the ink inside the more room you have to blow it out

@@ziminoart7889 Tak for svar :-) Jeg har bestemt mig for at investere i en airbrush. Der findes godt nok mange modeller og prisklasser ;-) Jeg vil kun komme til at bruge min til AI - så der skal være en lille model og lydsvag. Har du et godt bud - eller skal jeg blot satse :-)
Jeg købte min for 5 år siden i biltema, jeg gav omkring 500 kr med det hele , så længe den kan levere luften til dine malerier så er den fin , men jeg ved det er en jungle at finde rundt i og jeg ved heller ikke hvad jeg skulle vælge hvis min stod af , du må købe en der passer din pengepung, andet råd kan jeg ikke give

A couple of things, how do you keep the condition out of the straw? Also, do you use the alcohol blend solution in these tutorials?

I dont use blanding solutions
I also get condition in my straw, I just tap it out on a paper 👍
