You are from Denmark? I wonder what attracted to Morelia. 🤔🤔🤔 Oh, I was born in that state by the way, now Im in the USA, but hopefully I can retire in Mexico.
My wife and I relocated to Morelia a year and a half ago. She's Mexican and I'm from Reno, Nevada. It's a magical place! The cost of living, beautiful architecture, cultural offerings are all great. My wife has a lot of family here, so it's helped with the assimilation into the life. We live about 10 minutes from El Centro. We rented a beautiful 3 bdrm/3 bath, 4000 sq ft home. It costs us 8000 pesos monthly ($400 USD). Have seen no crime here yet, no police issues, and have had no problems in mixing with the people. The best move I ever made!

Hi, I'm a Czech who has been a Mexican national for 18 years. My first time in Mexico was in Morelia, it's a very beautiful and working city. Now I live in another city called Irapuato. I moved here for work reasons but I really recommend Morelia.
Great to hear that , that someone from my part of the world is recommending Morelia .This is better than Cesky Krumlov with too many tourist.... Architecture is amazing .
Your plricing is pretty accurate. We lived in Morelia for 1 year in the Vasco de Quiroga neighborhood. It was our first stop in Mexico. Great area and close to centro. We shopped at Mercado Independencia and for major shopping we went to Costco. The combie service is fantastic. Morelia is amazing. We live in San Luis Potosi now and love it here. -Marc
Que tal la seguridad en Morelia? Es una ciudad bellisima pero esa es la unica duda que tengo. Me ayudaria mucho si te tomaras unos minutitos para escribirme algo al respecto, si no es mucha molestia.
Your "Living in..." series is fantastic. I strongly suggest that if someone is serious about moving to Mexico and greatly reducing stress or mistakes, buy the MRG. I bought it, and it made my rental and residency process virtually pain-free compared to some that I know who decided to do their own thing.

Ventura Puente is not that nice at night honestly jajajaj I was surprised she mentioned it for a foreigner. Chapultepec is very nice though. Also, $1000 for a department 2 bedrooms? Whaaaat??? For that money you can find a very nice house with a car garage in a very nice area close to the expensive shops and malls 😬😬😬 I could even find you a NICE house for like 800-900 dlls (18 thousand, 19 thousand pesos a month)
I find that the neighborhood of Ventura Puente is perfectly decent and I don't feel it is sketchy at night. But that's my opinion. Yes there are probably places for rent for far less than what I mentioned. I'm aware of that. These are only some examples :) Thanks for watching!
Whenever I mention Morelia, everyone comments the crime, Numbeo as well, but you and your viewers don't mention it as a problem. Is it dangerous for normal activities?
Everyone who? Numbeo is a crowd sourced page and not the police database. If you’re looking to live anywhere and pick based on what’s considered safe, you could still be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Having said that, Morelia isn’t any more dangerous or safer than any other city. It’s a false sense of security to assume that a place deemed safe means you shouldn’t practice common sense. As you can see from our videos we share with you how living here is like. And of course we only share cities we deem good places to live. 😉 hope this helps
@@MexicoRelocationGuide To an extent. Some cities are safer than others and I wanted to get a feel for Morelia because it looks so beautiful and has a cool climate.
Not to be a Debbie-downer, but what about the fact that the state of Michoacan is on the State Departments "Do not travel" Level 4 (worst) warnings? While it's true that Morelia is excluded from the warning, it still means you have to pass into the danger zone whenever leaving the city over land. I'd really like to hear from those expats living there about these concerns ;?)
@@MexicoRelocationGuide Well the State Dept. doesn't designate specific areas other than the entire state of Michoacan with the exception for Morelia proper, so don't know how to avoid the rest if you travel out of town?
