I’m not a professional but I could notice that the run way and tarmac for Anambra Airport is above the standard than Lagos, the solidness and the quality is top notch. Only the terminal building is small in size though it’s very neat inside

@@Nonstoppatrick 2 years ago the headquarters of Ethiopian Airlines Cargo division for West Africa based in Abuja led by Dr Chioma Johnson Madu the head of the Ethiopian Airlines cargo division for North, West & central Africa visited the Anambra International Airport at the request of the former governor of Anambra State and appealed to the Hadi Saraki the former Aviation minister for landing right of Ethiopian Airlines in Anambra International Airport, unfortunately till today NO ANSWER . The Abuja airport can not handle the intensive daily 9 landings of big cargo aircraft’s of the Ethiopian Airlines. In February 2022, the Ethiopian Airlines experts in Addis Ababa Ethiopia has tested with the total of 20 Ethiopian Airlines biggest cargo aircraft’s Boing 747 & Boing 777 and all of them successfully landed in that day. We all were there to witness the largest cargo aircraft’s landing with the interval of 45 min. and the Ethiopian Airlines officials certified the Anambra Airport capabilities to handle large numbers of cargo aircraft’s in a day. The overall Ethiopian Airlines certification in every aspects of aircraft’s maintenance, aircraft’s parts production , pilot training, aircraft’s security, ground technicians training, cargo handling etc..is recognized globally since 1972, that is why the Ethiopian Airlines is ranking 14 among the top 100 airlines globally. By the way, altogether 194 Nigerians(32 Pilots) employees of the Ethiopian Airlines are deployed globally enjoying among the 28,695 work force of Ethiopian Airlines and we 12 Nigerians( 7 Igbos, 4 Yorubas & 1 from Calabar) are deployed here Yokohama Japan at the head quarters of Ethiopian Airlines cargo division for Southeast Asia.

I agree with you but wifi service is usually for very long haul flights and in most cases its a paid service . You may have 1 hour free afterwards you pay say for 4 more hours .
