@@NoCommentSki depends on the ski. But 3/1 is probably good if you are carving. 2/1 for all mountain cruising. the best answer is to check the specs from your manufacturer. Set the edges based on their recommendation. You really can't go wrong with that
@NoCommentSki 88 amd 2 are interchangeable terms. Some people say 2° some say 88° it's based on how far off it is from 90° just fyi. 2/1. Aka 88/89 same thing
What degree % would you advice to sharpen the edges with for advanced skiers (not a professional though)?
0.75 at base... 87 degree side

@ Thx for that! Having a bit of hard time to find anything for my Head Shape V8. Apparently they do 88% sharpening in the factory, but who knows…
