A look inside this Jeep / Chrysler HVAC Blend Air Door Actuator to see why it Clicks.

I changed this actuator on a 2012 Jeep Patriot and thought I would open it to see what we wrong with it. What I found was surprising.

The blend door gears look exactly like GM's actuators. Save some gears and find a bad GM actuator to see if they fit.
If none available, I can sent you one for the trial

You could still fix it by drilling a hole through both sides; right where that broken shaft was, and then stick a bolt all the way through the case. :)
For only $15 though; It's best to just get a new one

Yes you could in fact if it was mine and I found out the problem before I ordered another one I would do just that. There is a good chance after doing that it would last the car's life.
