I’m a surgical tech and he’s spot on. The problem is his advanced technology to give patients the best possible results, is probably very costly and will ultimately deter business. If he’s charging 15K for his BBL and others are charging 4/5K, folks are going to choose the cheapest route. I would go with him all the way, but I make ALOT and can afford it. His services are not going to be an income tax special.
There are a lot of comments and posts about how dangerous a BBL is but that is from old data and in patients who had problems from non-qualified people injecting. Today's BBL is not the same. I inject under direct visualization on ultrasound so I can see exactly where the fat goes. There is no guessing. Doctors who inject without ultrasound might as well be wearing a blind fold while injecting as they have no idea where their cannula is.

There is no surgery you could say that about. Not even a tonsillectomy. But is it likely or common? No. If these safe practices are performed by board certified plastic surgeons than the risk is less than 0.01% and is LOWER than a tummy tuck.
I wish I had found you before my 2nd BBL. I am so depressed about my results. I have too much fat at the top of my butt and none on my hips. All I wanted was hips but instead got an extra layer of fat sitting on my already big butt!

I usually suggest doing tummy and breast together and then 6 months later a BBL. It is not dangerous to do a TT and BBL together but it is a more difficult recovery when they are combined.

I have never heard of epinephrine causing pneumonia. I don't suggest any injections into the gluteal area other than fat. But I would ask your injector what volume they are going to place. How much sculptra? How many cc's? I use on a low case 500 cc of fat per side and up to 2000 cc per side for a big, big, big fill. I think 500 cc of sculptra would cost around $350,000 so it never really made sense to me how people could get a BBL with sculptra.

I always suggest seeing a hematologist to see what the cause of the anemia is and see if they have a treatment for the anemia. Not every case of anemia is related to iron levels. And if it is Iron they can give IV Iron as well which is more effective than taking it by mouth.
I want to get lipo on my stomach, but transfer the remaining to my butt and hips. Is that a separate procedure, because I know you take fat from the back, but I haven’t seen any videos, where you do the stomach and bbl at the same time??
Quick question Doc.. I only weigh 112 lbs and I can’t seem to put weight on for the life of me.. Would I even qualify for a BBL? Or would I end up losing my BBL quickly just from being to skinny?
Usually from 18 to 50 but if patients are super healthy, not on medications and are active and good candidates than over 50 is fine too for some patients.
One year for all the healing and swelling to go. Make sure during this time to lose weight if you have internal fat to get your abdomen as flat as possible.
Health is more important than age. If you have HTN and DM you must otherwise be in good health, a normal weight and be exercising 5 days a week in order to have surgery and your blood glucose would have to be very well controlled as evidenced on your A1c
Unfortunately for me a previous heart attack would rule you out as a candidate for a BBL but I would I would check with other surgeons to make sure it applies to them. I don't want to speak for all plastic surgeons.

Embolism is my number 1 fear. Thank goodness for bbl safety and Doctors like you. ❤
I have never had a fat emboli but if you take all the proper precautions it is still possible but the chances are very, very, very, very, very low.

I do not use drains for any surgery other than a tummy tuck.

Yes. Fat survives better in muscle. More blood supply in muscle than in fat.

While doing lipo transfer to the hips ( where in hips dips we don’t have muscle ) is that easier or safer to do so?
It is not usually easier but you are right there are not the big vessels there but I still visualize the area with the ultrasound.
