Hey guy's,thanks for another top vid, magnificent country side, your mate the rain has caught up again i see. Really like the "man from Snowy River" drone shots, stunning shots mate.Hope for you guy's to get out of the rain's soon.Thanks.👌🏾👍🏾
Thanks Doug. Yeah I captured some pretty stunning footage there I think. Was very special. These vids are a bit behind on the timeline now. But weather wise, we've been blessed with beautiful weather for the past 5 or 6 weeks. So it's been great.
@@Denis-zb5pf although... we did camp at another spot and it had been a few days since I'd had a shower. The water was the coldest I'd ever experienced. We were sitting down with Michelle's parents and my mother just before dinner. naturally a few rums in and I excused myself and jumped in the river. Apparently I've got no brains. Haha.
@@MrGrub12 yeah that'd be awesome... but I don't have one anymore. Haha. We were looking at some pretty fancy ones that you inflate. But they were rather expensive.
Hey Tim, been a while since I’ve watched you, I was working Mackay area a few years back. Loved seeing the areas you went to. Good to see you down this way, stunning areas, incredible huts. I now call the high country area home again after 27 years in QLD… and I’m loving it. Enjoyed this episode 👍🏼
Ahhh cheers mate. Very contrasting between the high country and pretty much anywhere in Queensland. Unfortunately we were there toward the end of last year and experience alot of closed areas due to weather. So we didn't get the full immersion we were hoping for. So we'll be back there again and spend an extended amount of time there.
@@TimRumble to be honest most of the tracks are closed most of the year round, it’s frustrating, seems since the fires they haven’t opened them up again. I’m working on tbd Snowy 2.0 project at present, try get out and explore on our rain - snow days. If you ever come down Dargo way in the VHC give me a shout out, would love to do a collaboration with ya, show you some of our iconic spots down here. 👍🏼
@@TimRumble not pissing in ya pocket, but it was guys like you that got me into YT when I arrived back in Vic. Aussie blokes getting out and showing what our great country has to offer, no bullshit, pit vipers, no massive wheels, and not out looking for the biggest big holes. Glad you popped up on my feed again. Keep well.
What amazing scenery! PS - we have finally joined the UA-cam crew and have a few videos of our own featuring our little Austrack camper. It is great to see that yours is going strong!
Oh true. I'll have to head on over and check it out. We find it a tad hard to watch anything now while we are adventurizing around. But when we are stopped somewhere with a bit of phone reception we sometimes will watch something before we goto bed.
I'm probably going have to agree with you. Although close second I reckon is the countryside north of Bathurst. We spent the last near three weeks up thru there. Was pleasantly surprised. Only planned for a week or so.
Hope you guys went to Coolamine homestead, its the best hut up there. Hope you enjoyed your time in the high country it brings back so many great memories for me, cheers.
G'day Erin. I thought I'd replied to you. But it hasn't come up. Unfortunately we had alot of road closures up there which hindered our exploration ideas. The road was closed off long Plain road to the blue waterholes so we didn't get to anything along that track. It was also closed further north. As we went deeper into the high country and on the vic side it was riddled with track closures. So we departed sooner than we'd liked.
@Tim Rumble - True Blue Overland Hi guys, such a shame you didn't get to coolamine and that alot of tracks were shut, i was hoping you meant only down the hill to blueholes was shut. I hope you get to revisit the area like you've suggested. We always joked around saying that if we were ever homeless, we were moving into coolamine homestead or setting up at perkins flat to live by the river LOL. Love your channel and wishing you guys many more safe and fun travels.
@@erin8709 thanks so much. Yeah we'll be back there for sure. Michelle's family know that high country so well. It's basically their upbringing. I've been told I'll be on skis at some point. That'll be like a baby giraffe trying to walk for the first time.
Cheers mate. Thanks so much. Yeah I guess I'm just lucky I actually enjoy the process of making these video memories of our adventures. If it can fund said adventures that would be great. But I'll keep on keeping on staying true to how I do it. Hopefully get better along the way too as far as quality and skills go. Haha.
Loving the content so far. Great video footage. Im running a similar setup to you, car and trailer. I would love to see some content on how your car/ trailer or gear you use. How your lith batteries are going. Water usage. Fuel consumption etc. Just general things about your rig. Thanks.
What stunning places especially seeing the brumbies!
We were pretty blessed to catch that action.
Beautiful video
Thanks very much.
Bloody Awesome mate
Cheers Ross. Seeing those Brumbies running wild was epic.
Another great vid. Keep it up.
Thanks Michael. Appreciate it mate.

Stunningly scenery, amazing caves.
Little disappointed Tim didn't swim?
Thanks for sharing. 🙏
Oh I swam. But not in that river. Even those thermal pools weren't very thermal after 30mm of rain that morning before we got there.

Hey great vid! Thank you for posting. Can I ask; How did you get to the pools? It looks like you didn't walk down the "traditional" way.
Thankyou and thanks for watching.
We got to the pools from a side track shortly after the path with the beautiful trees that line either side.
