- An awesome camping trip over Christmas down to the High Plains / Long Plain area of Kosciuszko National Park. An incredible, often overlooked part of the national park. Quite remote, but very peaceful and well worth it! Had the chance to take in some Hut Hiking, checking out Hainsworth and Millers Hut, as well camping on Australia second largest river, the Mighty Murrumbidgee!

yeah-wha ta awesome - take care!🖐
Great video Alex, what a place those plains are. Gotta go for a few days and have a fish, see the old huts and get some photography in. Thanks for this.
thanks mate! you could easily spend a week there. plenty of Alpine huts in the area to hike to, great fishing, great camping.
Nice video mate. Beautiful trip.
thanks mate!
If I see another video with someone cooking dried food with a jetboil thingie I’ll go mental. Nice fishing bits though. Nice river.
Haha not a fan of them i guessing? I love em, Theyre a godsend for lazy folk like my self
Great video Alex! We are heading up again in November - where were you camped, looks like a great spot!
Thanks Michael! It's of Long Plain Rd on Port phillip trail about 1km down, just before u cross the bridge over the Murrumbidgee.
Hi mate can you access that camp spot on Port Phillip trail without any gates etc? did you go Snowy Mountains highway Long Plain Road / Port Phillip trail?
Hey mate. Yep, i got in Via the Highway and then Long Plain Rd. But u can also get in via Tantangara/Port Phillip Trail as long as the water level is low, otherwise the causeway that crosses Tantangara is underwater
Thats on the Port Phillip Trail, just off Long Plain Road… cool spot…
Great spot away from the crowds
Is it hard to access? I have a 4x4 and planning a trip up from Sydney!
Port phillip trail access is very good. Its just a gravel road, not too many corrugations, its been in very good condition every time iv been there. Potholes here and there which is to be expected of a gravel road.
@@alexazizo cheers 👌
