Adding little quips and comments aren’t going to appease a filthy corporation and stop them from abusing the copyright/fair use reporting system if that was the case.
My bet is that either of his own volition, or at the suggestion of some filthy social media marketer or something, he’s doing it to better align with the style of videos/ editing that tik tok has made popular.

Notice how the subscription has been at 107k for the last five weeks. Goes to show a little change can make a big difference. Some like the commentary, but the heavy majority hates it and wants to throw it out completely. Also adding commentary just removes the context of most videos outright. If you could bring back subtitles, great. Otherwise these videos aren't really going to go anywhere😐
