- I travel to Warwick Mountain near Wentworth, Nova Scotia in search of a castle build by a german man over many years. The builder, now deceased, has left the building and its contents as they were when abandoned.
We go inside and take a close look at this Abandoned Castle.
Enjoy this adventure to a grown mans dream of owning his own castle.

Cheer man! I grew up in the area and never knew about until the last few years and have been there a couple times now, thanks for sharing your experience!
Great video! Great find!
Great Video! Cheers
Thanks for the video.
There ya go man, glad you made it in there.
Started doing Nova Scotia in 1984. Been there. Another was going out to Meat Cove. A fav place, somewhat lost n time. Now it is catching up. Good vid
@samhill3496 meat cove is on the list ! Possibly in a few weeks. Thank you !!
@@AdventuresNearby it's old and falling down too. Up above road about 1/2 mile off hardtop at St Margretts Bay. Lot of eagles and moose around there be careful on bike. All that area is beautiful
What a lovely offroad ride. And the abandoned little castle was well worth the trip.
Yes it was!
Jamie, this is a terrific video. Jackie and I will take the side by side up soon. Loved the drone shots of Pugwash and Wallace.
When in doubt, throttle out!
Nice to see that it’s relatively easy to get to. Previous videos I have watched about this castle were either the ATV or Overlanding crowd and they must have gone in from a different direction. I’ll have to add it to my list of places to visit. Cheers.
It is. You have to be prepared for the base of the hill it's not big bike friendly or novice friendly. It was a pin it and hope! The hill is steep and crowded
Lets go!
I'm just outside of Truro. Commented on your fb post about the stone castle from Warwick. Very cool videos. I subscribed. Keep em coming
Thank you.!
Excellent editing moved along as fast as ones eye and mind could go You endured a lot to give us the in person tour.
it wasn't exactly a safe spot to be! thank you the support!!
When in doubt, twist the throttle and shout
Maybe get in with a Jeep though ;-) Shame its in such a bad state of disrepair. Will have to look for more vids of the inside.
@crystalheartstar You would get there in a jeep that's not afraid of being scratched by low hanging branches .
I've heard it was owned by an American or German. Who did die and no family has claimed it.
The property is left in such a state that it's consistent with 20 years abandoned...ish?
@@AdventuresNearby I found some info online yesterday about the construction. The man who built it was named Ed Kent, and the property was his family's and had been for generations. He lived in Idaho but came in the summer to work on it, and while he worked on it, he lived in the shipping container. He worked on it for ten summers, and sadly passed away before it was finished I have a friend who has a Jeep and she's not afraid of mud or branches.
Steer more with your throttle
what are you riding???
