When he says that theyre still gonna be talking about PLZA during PD25 it could be that there is some sort of dlc maybe? PLA released before PD22 and was given a DLC/ update a month later. If they do the same thing again, PLZA will release early 2025 and then (hopefully) get a bigger update during PD a month after.
Only thing is I am pretty convinced that PLZA is gonna be a Switch2 game and therefore won't be released until at least March/ April
This is super exciting. I can’t wait for Gen 10 to get announced. For now we see what PLZA has to offer.
If Legends Zaza ends up being a launch title for the “Super Switch”, then it could very well mean that Gamefreak “finished” development a while ago and were planning on releasing Zaza this year but Nintendo told them to release it a year later as a launch title instead, and GF may not have intentions of finding tuning it..
It could explain why we haven't gotten any gameplay on reveal, unlike with virtually every other main series Pokemon title. I can see it being like Zelda: Twilight Princess or Zelda: Breath of the Wild, where it launches on both the old & new system at the same time. This is also why I can't see PLZA launching before March of 2025, well after Pokemon Day.

I have the feeling, we will get a Johto game early on Switch 2. Maybe it had to be the last game from the last direct (they really build a Johto Hype), but than they has to change it, because the Switch 2 was not annouced in this point.
PLZA is a switch 1 project so if khu’s talking about 3 switch 2 projects it’s not included in that
Unless it's a cross gen title akin to Zelda BoTW or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red Rescue team.
If PLZA is a switch 1 project, there is literally no reason why they don't bring it out this year though + with the rumored interconnectivety between both the Switch and Switch 2 (For Switch 1 titles), there is no reason either.

They can't really announce gen 10 when PLZA isn't out yet, that will lead to gen 10 cannibalizing sales & them beginning the gen 10 promo cycle in June/May for fall of 2025, when they typically announce some main series games like LGPE, would lead to them not having enough time to promote something as big as a NEW GENERATION.
Though, I do have a gut feeling that they will announce a remake for XY for this year in a conference. I can't see Johto getting remade since: 1. LGPE was based on Yellow, not Red & Blue & it came out on Yellow's anniversary. Ergo, they would remake Crystal, not Gold & Silver
2. It would be odd for Pokemon Works or ILCA to do a Let's Go game when they weren't even allowed much creative freedom with BDSP
3. It would be much easier to just port GSC to Switch Online since, during Red & Blue's anniversary, we got the OG Red, Blue, & Yellow on 3DS's virtual console & we wouldn't get a 2nd Kanto remake until the following year.
Game Freak didn't master Switch system at all and they annouce another console.

I’m speculating that we’re going to get DS on NSO and we’re gonna get Pokémon games on the Switch. Which would explain the lack of marketing time. They don’t have to promote it, they can just announce it and the release dates and leave it at that and it could count as a Pokémon release for 2024.
Yeah, DS on Switch Online when the Switch only has one screen & no microphone makes TOTAL sense.
@@ShiningStar5022 did you know that the Switch is touch screen while being roughly the same size as a 2DS and supports Bluetooth headsets with microphones? Please don’t reply to my comment with such a rude response and be wrong. DS games are also on single screen emulators and works fine. The possibility of what I mentioned is quite slim, but it would be an ideal situation that works.

However, I have YET to see Nintendo or ANY company port a DS game on the Switch. Also, if that were the case, why not port DP instead of remaking it? For Pete’s sake, they are remaking 3DS games like Miitopia & Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon instead of directly porting them.
Also, we are a bit too late in the Switch’s lifecycle for DS games on Switch online, maybe Switch 2 will have it if it’s a double screen console.
@@ShiningStar5022 well I’d imagine the remake was just something to release for that year due to the schedule. Plus money. The fact that they haven’t ported any DS games is a reason why I think they would do this, have it as a last hoorah and also compatibility with the Switch Successor. Again, this is all just speculation due to not having any other clue for the future. I just theorized based on the information I presented plus I would love for it to happen.

Genuine leaker? Don’t remember him mentioning anything Kalos or Z related. I know Nintendo Switch was announced in 2015 but it was released 2 years afterwards; if Nintendo Switch 2 will be announced in 2025, it probably won’t be released until late 2025 to early 2027.

It’s not TPC’s issue of keeping poketubers/leakers involved or invested so that they can make money. Branch out and make different content if pokemon isn’t giving enough details about upcoming games so you don’t have to scrap the bottom of the barrel and encourage kids to make “leaks” on 4chan hoping that you will show it on your videos.
For real and like what does he expect TPCI to do to hype up games? They really don’t do anything differently than 90% of other AAA game developers lmao.
