I used super similar sand in a 29 gal. It was my first time after previously using pool filter sand. I ended up regretting the decision. The pool filter sand allows detritus settle in and recycle, but the fine “aquarium sand” doesn’t let anything sink in unfortunately. Hopefully yours will be fine tho with less of a bioload… but something to look out for if it helps. I’m interested to see how it works out in yours
Hey there, great video! The tank looks really nice and has a calming feeling to it. Love that it's a low maintenance, yet lush and well scaped. I hate trimming sagitaria, and plant hates it too =) Most likely the cutted leaves will start dying off later on, so maybe as a suggestion - try moving it to the back and adding some echinodorus tenellum at the front - it's really hardy and works nice as a carpet, another option is lilaeopsis brasiliensis, I think both should fit the tank nicely.
Thank you for watching! Yeah I've notice the cut bits of the sagitaria not doing well. Most of the time it just grows back as a new leaf entirely. Definitely, not a fan of the squared off look so moving it is not a bad idea at all. Lilaeopsis sounds like a move and I'll be sure to include your suggestion in the next video!
Maintenance/update videos are honestly so much more interesting and satisfying than set up videos, which overrun UA-cam. Please keep it up (and do more of these 😲)!! 🫶
What an amazing work you doing with your tank. I need to ask, have you do a root trim to the peace lily? And how toxic it is to the fish? I wanna do it to my plant but I'm afraid it kills everything in my tank...
Thank you! Sadly we had a spawn and they immediately got eaten…. Next course is to included more hiding areas and perhaps a pre filter on the Lilly inlet.
@@WorldofWhasian aww that's sad! I use a prefilter sponge on mine and I've got tons of babies, too many, really! The adults didn't even pick at shrimplettes, very peaceful, except the boys with each other, lol
Bro love the content but its like 4:19 am in los angeles and your uploading im assuming your on the east coast my dude because this is late af or early af a time to be uploading. Anyhow hope your doing well love the content please keep uploading
Also, if you could stop blinking as well, that would be great as I don't appreciate blinking. Maybe you can blink and breathe off camera? 😂 I'm being sarcastic BTW. Love your channel, your content and I love your ASMR breathing as well ;)
My husband makes fun of me for watching "nerds" like you but will fall asleep to a 45 min warhammer lore video
Hahaha! Respect to both. It’s long drawn out Elder Scrolls videos that do it for me.
@@WorldofWhasian My husband would always play Skyrim for me when I wasn't well and I'd be asleep so fast
It's nice to watch someone else clean up a tank. oddly soothing.
I’m glad you like it!
Looks great! I have a 10 gallon cycling now and I want to get some Endlers for it.
Thank you! Endlers go great in a 10!

Nice cleanup job Alex! Looks good! Glad I was able to let you steal the RO water from my house for your water change! 😂😂
Thank you! Also, why do you have to call me out like that....... 🤣

Your Endler ecosystem is looking really great! Are you seeing any of the fry surviving?

Nice video, comrade. I actually have more luck floating or simply vertically "arranging" my Brazillian Pennywort as opposed to planting it.
Thank you! I’m experiencing the same as well. I have a shallow grow out tank with penny wort close to an agitated surface and it’s doing much better.
lowkey missed bro's videos
Keen as for this 1
Thanks for watching!
is your water smelling foul? there is no water movement
We have a Lilly pipe agitated the surface 👍

I have to turn it up when you talk then your music blows up!
Ah sorry to hear that. I appreciate the feedback. I’ll try my best to fix that going forward 🫡

Bro your breathing is bad , please stop doing that if you make a video
Ah shit my bad. I’m gonna get the inhaler for the next video 🤣
@@WorldofWhasian honestly, breathing is underrated. You should just develop some gills and jump in the endler tank!!!
