- കണ്ണൂരിലെ ആറളം വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതം കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ ഇരുട്ടിക്കടുത്ത് ആറളം എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. പുറമേ നിന്നുള്ള സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് ഇവിടെയുള്ള വഴി പലപ്പോഴും തെറ്റാറുണ്ട്, അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഈ വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതത്തിലേക്കുള്ള ഗൂഗിൾ മാപ്പ് ലിങ്ക് താഴെ ഞാൻ കൊടുക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്തം വാഹനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് കാടിനുള്ളിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയ ചുരുക്കം ചില വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ആറളം വന്യജീവി സങ്കേതം. ഏകദേശം 16 കിലോമീറ്റർ കാടിന്റെ ഉള്ളിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചാൽ നമുക്ക് മീൻമുട്ടി വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിൽ എത്താൻ പറ്റും, പക്ഷേ ഓഫ് റോഡ് പോകാൻ പറ്റിയ വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് അങ്ങോട്ട് പോകാൻ സാധാരണ കാറുകൾ കൊണ്ട് ഏകദേശം ആറ് കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ നമുക്ക് വനത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കാൻ കഴിയും.
ഞങ്ങൾ പോയത് ഒരു വേനൽക്കാലത്ത് ആയതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ വന്യജീവികളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം വളരെ കുറവായിരുന്നു. എൻറെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ മഴക്കാലമാണ് ഇവിടം സന്ദർശിക്കാൻ അനുയോജ്യമായ സമയം.
Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary in Kannur is located at Aralam near irutti in Kannur district. Tourists often get the wrong way here, so I am giving the google map link to this wildlife sanctuary below. Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the few wildlife sanctuaries where we can enter the forest with our own vehicles. We can reach Meenmutti Falls after about 16 km through the forest, but only for off-road vehicles, we can enter the forest for about six km with regular cars.
Since we went in the summer, the presence of wildlife was minimal. According to me, rainy season is the best time to visit this place.
