I am completely with you about the one-ofs on utility cards. Even a lot of experienced players don't understand that psreading your utility cards with on-ofs actually improve the consistency of your deck because when you have 2 of the same card in hand you have only 1 option, whereas when you have two different cards then you have two options. The only drawback is that you can't really play to draw these specific cards since they are one-ofs, but when you are putting one-ofs with non-necessary cards, this drawback is surprisingly negligible and you are only left with the upsides. Not all decks have the space to use one-ofs, nor benefit from them more than the ability to draw towards these cards, this should be mentionned. But in general, they are hugely underrated. Also, it makes it much harder for the opponent to play around your utility. If they know you have 3 different ways of answering something but all three of them are one-ofs, how does he choose which one he plays around? There is no good answer for him. And contrary to 3-of traditionnal deckbuilding, this advantage also works when your opponent knows the exact list you are playing. Edit: and this is not only true for LoR.
When I was into mtg, I loved creating toolbox decks with 1-ofs, but only when I had the opportunity to tutor them. For example I used to play an elf deck, in which sideboard I put chord of calling and lots of tutorable 1-ofs, because when you play 3 tutors and lots of 1-ofs you're basically playing lots of 4-ofs (in terms of probability to draw them), it's such a nice way to play with probability. But when I can't tutor them I go with 2-ofs, otherwise the risk is not to draw them when needed or (worst) to draw them instead of a card you removed from the deck in order to make space for them, which would have been significantly better... Only cards I stick with one copy are late game over-costing cards, like the 9 mana girl that kicks three enemies back to oppo's hand. But I can understand your point of view, we just have two different ways of taking risks and being confident in probability.
A few reasons that make one offs good. Some of these were mentioned by mogwai, some i picked up elsewhere: Reason 1 - The card does not synergize with itself Triferian assessor does not proc off itself. Using a single assessor guarantees that when you draw an assessor, it wont be played on a board with another one. This is very relevant Same goes with legion general: the more stun you have the stronger the general is. Running a single general and more stun cards makes you general a stronger card. Reason 2 - the card is clunky as a two of Guile is good tempo play(mana value play) but you never want two in your hand. Same for recall. Reason 3 - more options if two cards are equally good in your deck, running one of each is better, since when you draw both, having more options is a blessing. Reason 4 - curve Running a single one drop reduces the chance of drawing two in your opening hand. The same goes for 7 or 6 drops. Reason 5 - Delaying the average first draw of a card Very expensive cards like Minnah are played as one of for this reason. But also cheaper cards that need time to grow like general or those who endure are better as one ofs the fewer of it you play, the later you will draw it on average. 3 of = 1 draw per 13 cards = average draw roughly 7 2 of = one draw per 20 cards = average draw roughly 10 1 of = one draw per 40 cards = average draw roughly 20 Statistically, the general will be far more buffed when you draw him if you play him as a one of then a 3 of.
Pretty sure it's water, when you speak a lot like him constant hydration helps, alcohol would make his decisions less focused and accurate. He's a clever guy, so I think he tries to create the best mental environment for playing

Aurelion Sol is a giant cosmic planet eating dragon. He’s most likely going to be packed in with Targon faction with the likes of Leona, Pantheon, Taric, Diana, etc. Lore wise Targon is an ancient civilization on top of a sacred moutain that worships gods and deitys. During the Darkin (ancient species of pure evil) War the Targons called upon their gods to bless their warriors with immense power. Those who could wield that power were called Aspects of *insert god here*. They were still completely bopped even with the God’s might. In the end they sealed the Darkin species into weapon that are now known across the land to grant monstrous power, but hidden within are the Darkins themselves who would corrupt their owner into resurrection. Aurelion Sol in regards to all that lore occasionally have lunch with Targon’s Gods and laughs about our weak and lame and pathetic world. He’s very egotistical, but I mean his a space dragon whose body consists of cosmic ether and throws literal galaxies as a form of basic attack.
Also the only reason why he exists at all and why his lore is so convoluted is because his concept designed was hyped up by Riot in like season 3 and then fucked up and never released him until season 7 and now he’s a terribly written character.
I'm currently using Ionia-Noxus (Elusive-Overwhelm-spider) deck (I know it's not much, but I make do of what I have). I just started playing and I'm planning to build my Kat deck, so I'm curious to see how this one plays fares with Demacia-Freljord deck.
At minute 25:44 why didn't he play transfusion? Would save his yasuo, deal 2 extra damage, cost 2 Mana less and avoid the opponent to heal and also avoids the vile feast spell
If I may make one sugguestion - I really do think not running Steel Tempest is a huge mistake. Your list has definitely inspired me to tweak my own (I run 3 of the generals but just 1 is probably correct) but ST is a life saver. Granted you can only use it defensively (except when Kat is involved) but being able to stop their biggest attacker for just 3 mana is huge. Very nice against things like Braum or Fiora

0.M.G haha I was expecting a call while watching your video and kept hearing your skype call so I would stop the video and go check, but nothing was there so I would hit play again and the call would go! was so confused XD
36:54 you could've recall kalista after the vile feast casted to eliminate a 4/4 unit due to full board... Unless there is a strategy behind it that I don't see.
I was playing today with this deck and I had a blast. The Assessor saved more than a few times in the late game when I was running out of steam so she has definitely earned her place. The recall is another card I wasn't using much in my version, but using it to recall Yone when he is about to go down and stun/kill 2 more enemies feels so satisfying. It is also a great way to level up Yasuo when the opponent doesn't expect it mid-combat while saving a unit from death.
That strikes me very odd. Not only the redeemer, but the greenglade caretaker got her lines changed too. Why would Riot do this? Are there any other cards voice line changed too?
