In this video I hear chants from Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Stoke City, Liverpool and West Ham.... Someone tell me what happens from 05:50 to 07:25 . I fall asleep after the Chelsea chants and wake up to Stoke City!
The best fans in England are Liverpool because its not just about the football. Its filled with passion, even when there loosing, but they've got a selection of fans who say and do horrific things. Also, I've been to see a few games at Derby County and it taught me just how good of an atmosphere a 30,000 seater stadium can have. The fans didn't sit down for the whole game and they were singing through all the 90 minutes. Even when your outside the stadium you get goose bumps because you can hear a whole stand bouncing and singing half an hour before kick off. Hope they get promoted this season.
+1985Viggen I'm quite sure you are 15yrs old. Are you comparing RED's fan to Chelsea?? a 110yrs old club with only 5 titles hehehehe who is the loser then??. YNWA
I honestly think on average each Premiership team has about 3 songs lol Apart from Man Utd. Standard songs for nearly every team " Oh when the *insert name* go marching in" " And its * insert name* their by much the greast team" " Come on * insert name*, Come on * Insert name*" And then one song thats their clubs own. Its so bad
The average amount of chants for clubs in the premier league is on average 256.3 with Manchester united having the highest with 507 and stoke the lowest with 77.
+Kim “GasTheKikes” Jong-un doubt that as Stoke are the second oldest club in the world. They are a smaller league team so no one Hartley hears our songs then they get taken by Man U, oh and Man U only hav away support, their home support is terrible
The Premier League isn't particularly good for atmosphere, I'm afraid. Sometimes it can be absolutely electric, but games like that are few and far between. English fans are nowhere near as loud as they once were, sadly.
Essex Eagle I'm a Brum fan and as much as I hate to say it the Britannia stadium is one of the best for atmosphere when its full pisses all over Selhurst Park in my opinion.
english clubs arent known for being the loudest.. but players still hail their atmosphere. thts cos for most english clubs, once the match starts, fans chant just by using their mouth n hands, without any props like megaphones/speakers/drums/etc. they simply sing from their heart. tht wat makes EPL atmosphere the best. most professional players even think so too.
I actually like the EPL atmosphere. No need for fireworks or pyros or smoke or dancing or whatnot, just good old songs and chants. Tifos and choreos are cool too.
I am an English football follower but I have to agree with you there about standing much prefer it contributes to the atmosphere all together. German support is brilliant looking at Dortmund especially. Don`t know much about Swedish fans would you consider them one of the best?
TheRoflCrab have you been to palace, or just jumping on their bandwagon? they have 200, 250 tops fans 'ultras' who fairplay to them create a decent atmosphere but get real, they are no where near Newcastle and Liverpool imo
Chris Sheffer Liverpool and Newcastle? I think the Holmesdale Fanatics create the best atmosphere by far in the premier. At least at home. IMO Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United & Cardiff are competing for the best atmosphere away. But absolutely not at home.
I'm gonna paraphrase Jürgen klopp and say that, fans singing at the Emirates, white hart lane, and Stamford bridge are like hyms at church, but anfield, the Britannia stadium, and celhurst park are like a Metallica concert.
BludShabba are you stupid? Liverpool fans have one of the largest songbooks along with (I hate to say it) United. And I believe you support B'ham City? hahaha have u seen your average home attendance over the past few seasons, you are in no position to talk about other teams' atmosphere.
LoyalLFC really? because your lot tend to be silent after you've sung ynwa once before k.o yes i support the Blues and i know our home attendance is poor, but do you have any idea of the sort of problems we have with the ownership of the club? course not, you dont know hardship in football, whats hard about being a Liverpool fan?
And about England not having ultras, yer it's new here and like the other guy said if u get caught u could get a banning order so yer... U can still have a loud atmosphere without flares and that! Although its fun to have flares tbh ;)
+Marcos Vinícius they actually have shit fans ironically- they cant sell out their ground. it was just because they had beaten their main rivals. and did you notice they were only singing along to music not on their own.
They should bring back safe standing areas for a better atmosphere, I mean you go to a game now and stand and sing and the stewards tell you to sit down, look at German football stadiums, they have safe standing areas
Premier league atmosphere was shit until palace came up. Now everyone sings their songs and try to replicate the noise at Selhurst. Palace have given the prem hope of having a good atmosphere again but yes I hate our fucking drum to
Essex Eagle yes i saw it and it really gives some motivation to SUPPORTERS to push with the team for 90 mins trust me i hope all other supporters will follow you
Arsenals away fans make up for it. The chelsea and united away fans probably do as well but if they actually lowered ticket prices at the emirates it would be full of proper fans instead of plastic ones
Premier League atmosphere is just plain boring... Do you know what ultras are ? Clubs with ultras in Turkey, Greece, Holland, Cyprus, Russia, Croatia, Serbia... and even in Portugal where Pyro is not allowed have a much better atmosphere than all of these mentioned here...
England never has and never will have ultras, we have our own fan culture. Unfortunately, cos of greed, ticket prices are too high and proper fans can't afford to go. But it might all change. If we get safe standing all fans will envy us again like they did in the 70s, 80s and the 90s

Ultras make a stadium much better. And also push the team forward. Hopefully English teams will also have ultras soon...
biggySGM We already have some ultras but not enough, you might have a harder time getting flags into chelsea than you would if you went to Crystal Palace, Man city, Liverpool etc...
I agree with Palace comment, been there and they have the place bouncing. I suppose my point was really aimed at premier league teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Man C. Anfield has been a morg in recent years until towards the end of this season. No I'm not Scotttish and no interest in those 2 clubs. I'm Irish. I travel Europe and visit as many grounds I can. Second/third tier fans in England are superb I.e Leeds or Portsmouth etc! Old style grounds too. My favourite league to visit German

The premier league. As an all .round package is probably the greatest export . Err that's ever been exported. Serie. A used to be the best . But the English league is fantastic.
City, Liverpool and stoke fans generated the best atmosphere by far. Arsenal and chelsea supporters just make me cringe. United were left out of this because it's like a library at the swamp.
I really think we should introduce it. In league 1 and league 2 teams dont have to have all seated stadiums. And in my opinion some of the best fans in england are in the lower leagues. Hey, have u ever seen crystal palace fans? They have an ultras group and I think other teams in England should do the same. watch this, /watch?v=IL47U4rZj_k

matthew colgan The respect is real...
Well i am sorry but even then there not the best in england
I never said they were (even though it is obvious they are ;)), just that you have an enormous lack of respect for 96 people who died.
matthew colgan erm....no they don't, no fans are as passionate about football than Liverpool fans
Chelsea atmosphere sounds like amateur league atmosphere of my hometown

Azi Alhussaini That was for one game you can hardly sustain 50,000 each game let alone the full 60,000 you've just expanded your stadium to
Yeah, because it's so expensive now. So alot of old people go, and not the young passionate fans who can't afford it.
C troooooop beau
