Arsenal atmosphere is so shit xD When Plymouth Argyle played them in the FA cup a few years ago we took up 10,000 fans on the 8 hour round trip and outsung them for the whole game XD
Thats because the tickets are the most expensive in the world and pricing out real fans. England has too much problems with hooligans in the 70's, 80's and 90's so they changed it to cater to upper classes. England always has among the best fans at international tournaments though.

Dortmund are overrated. Everyone who has been at that stadium that I know says that it's just a hype and the atmosphere is really not that good.

As an Englishman, it is embarrassing to see Liverpool put in such a poor show.
But, that is the result of the Hillsborough Disaster and the subsequent sanitising of English football, getting rid of standing areas and the encouragement of the middle class, corporate 'prawn sandwich brigade' to attend matches, as well as families.
Is it a good or bad thing? I don't know......but all I do know is that, it's made the atmosphere very, very stale.
The only time you can guarantee a good atmosphere is if you go to watch your team away from home because the away fans consist of the hardcore fans, lads who have gone for an all day lash up, few families and no prawn sandwich brigade.
The working man has been priced out of the Premier League. It's as simple as that.

Football fans in England are being priced out of the games. It is becoming more and more a rich man's game, which is not what it used to be. Football used to be the game of the working class. Now in England, it's all about money, money, money.

I wish American Football teams and college basketball teams would do chants like this. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are "Rock Chalk Jayhawk" Kansas. "Go Big Blue" Kentucky Basketball. Major respect. Fans are CRAZY. Atmosphere is almost as fun as the games

I think both American fans and European fans are great and they both have their fair share of awesome.
I got no idea how those fans got chosen, but definitely tens of clubs deserving to be in here (Celtic, Rangers, Tottenham, PAOK, Feynord, Shalke, Bayern, Roma, Napoli, Lazio, Olimpic M, Benfica, CSKA Sof, Partizan, Barcelona, Athletico Madrid and more)

Very loyal fans, good atmosphere, not the best in Europe, not the best in England. Crystal Palace is the best. In Europe lfc have no chanse against german and Italian football + all the turkish, and greece.
English fans don't need to prove anything to anyone and it's not a competition. We set the standard and now everyone is desperately trying to be the 'best'. You don't need Ultras to make noise, women and children
make plenty of fucking noise, believe me. Also, there are dozens of different chants I hear during a Chelsea game and the same applies to Liverpool, who happen to have amazing fans. These Ultras are meat heads chanting one fascist style chant all game. I've seen it first hand and it's impressive for about a minute. Take away the flares/banners all they have is 1 chant and a load of fans who think they are hard but never actually fight.

Also that walk alone song is literally the cringiest song going. West ham has by far the best atmosphere going atm. We even won a European cup before you did.

Happy Hour Not going to lie mate, but I genuinely didn’t know about that club until yesterday when they played Arsenal, and all I can say is they’ve got great fans, even after the game all the fans stay in their seats and just show pure passion for the team, if they win or lose.
It’s a shame here in England when our favourite team loses, we all go moody bastards until we get a good result

I saw so many ignorant people here who say Turkey is not Europe..
Firstly you better check where Turkish teams compete in , they all compete in European champions league or the European league. In the World cup We compete with Holland, Germany etc etc so means we are again considered as European Country.
Secondly Geography, yes again we are in Europe, you can say it s just a small part of Turkey , but believe me that small part contains people more than lots of countries in Europe (around 12-13 million)..

Absolute respect for the Europeans and the insane passion they show for their clubs. I really wish we did this more in the US. The only leagues I see this kind of stuff in are the MLS and USL. Why can't we do this in other professional sports? It would make attending a game a much better experience. There's gotta be a way to get crowds to chant and sing to show their true passion for their team, and not just in the MLS. We really should try it in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL. Maybe you can get out there and do something to get the crowd going. Sports games are nothing without an amazing atmosphere.
I think that one of the reasons is how big the USA is. The culture of football is integrated into our cities and regions, whereas it’s more spread out for you. Also most of our clubs are very old. Some clubs go back to the 1800’s for origin and families grow up supporting those teams, whereas that kind of thing doesn’t happen in America
