Hello, I'm Benjamin training shotokan karate in Kenya and I really like your wise teaching.
As an young instructor in the ISKF in America, I think this is an excellent review of something that is overlooked by many experienced practitioners. Great job
He is good in explaining the details. I encountered many masters but they are not so detailed in explaining the concepts
I am ISKF too
Thanks for sharing this information! 🙏
Excellent video man, good explanation, very helpful and clear 👌👋
Very instructive ! Thank you Sensei ! Bless
I am a Taekwondoin and I think I learned alot from this.
Great video, great instruction.
Interesting perspective. I'm JKA under Nishiyama Sensei (who passed away several years ago), he would teach more of squeeze into the center and out in one motion - the faster you breathe, the faster you kick if your breathing timing is correct. I think of this because when you kick, I noticed a slight lean forward (most would probably not catch that in your kick)- which indicates to me that the upward "feeling" is generating a slight loss of your center of gravity when kicking, which can slow the kick. But I still think you have great videos, very clean technique and a lot of great information from the Japanese perspective...
Arigato...valuable info...keep posting and sharing ☺️
Thank you sensei.🙏
Sensei Nagano, I must admit, that for a person of Japanese origin, you speak English VERY fluently. Keep up the good work and put in the hours. Konichiwa from America!
Really quality stuff
It makes so much sense! I was struggling a lot with my speed recently. I also got some feedback that my zenkutsu dachi was to deep. This leads to an inner conflict, because my previous sensei always said that the deeper/lower your stance is the better it is for you, when you get tired and it automatically gets a bit higher.
That helpt so much thank you
This is a good review of how to develop speed. Something I was not fought when I was doing Chen ti chei.
Thanks!
Thank you very much Sensei. Student from Sydney, Australia.
Thanks and oss
Thank you
Very useful, I'm going to a tournament in Miami in June and I really to make sure I win or at least get something out of the trip.
Amazing Sensei! This is chi kung!
شكرا لك (اوس)
It awesome
Thank you! I noticed my right crescent kick seem to “drag” and I think it’s the weight distribution you discussed. I will practice this.
Very good tips Oss
Just what i needed, a lesson on speed!

Yusuke thanks for sharing your knowledge! Impressive 🙇🏻♂️ If you allow me a little analysis, the heavy leg is the base of the whip and the light leg is the whip. Thanks!

南拳中华 的理念。。。 very informative video.... Same concept like Chinese southern Kung fu ....

oss..could you show me that how to practice the breathing from beginner level?
Can you do more sparring videos I struggle on that
People laugh at the idea of tai chi being a martial art, but there are things like this in karate that tai chi is all about too, I got an inkling of it just from the hand motion at the start coz I've practised that sensitivity to feel where I'm weighted, and shifted that between feet. I couldn't do karate for a while coz I was injured (early days of fibromyalgia I think looking back) so I took a couple of months off and only did tai chi, and when I went back to karate I felt stronger and more in control of my body. Anyway, I enjoy musing on similarities between styles that are on the surface completely different, excuse the ramble :)
make video on turning in kata with balance
how do I improve my endurance in a fight?????????

I’m about to spam this lesson during my kumite…… I’m about to be the flash! Thank you
???😂😂😂😂 You mean your Kata ? Kumite is an Under ground fighting contest , you are not in any Kumite 😝😝😝😝😆😆😆😂😂😂

I can already tell @lawrwnce doesn’t know what he is talking about
@@blessedngenda1333 Kumite was what John Dukes entered in real life it was a fighting tournament held only for highly reguarded martial artists and attended by invitation only, The movie ( BLOOD SPORT ) IS based on the Kumite and it Stars ( JEAN CLAUD VANDAMN ) I know I am pretty close to correct on that as, no local belt testing or tournaments = at least where I am from are known as Kumite , so maybe you could help me understand better as I really would like to know what is your Kumite ?????
@@blessedngenda1333 I'm not a Karate guy, humor me, I really would appriciate if you explained what Kumite actually is? , I have only ever heard of it in the movie = BLOOD SPORT !!!!
Is there a difference between shotokan and kyokushin when it comes to the fundamentals?
Kyokushin tend to take more from goju ryu than shotokan . But if talking about kihon it's mostly the same
@@12qw243 they are very simmilar if we are talking about the very bare basics because if im still sane enough, i remember reading about the founder of kyokushin "Master Oyama" used to train under "Gichin Fonakoshi" the founder of Shotokan karate
@@ydgames4291 yes he train in shotokan which he received 4th dan but after he train in goju ryu which received 6th dan. He also attended 4th in judo I think and did training in boxing as well.

Hello
Even though it’s Judo, is it possible for you to react to the HK film “Throwdown” by Johnnie To? It’s based on Kurosawa’s Sagata Sanshiro!
good myiayf
Yuseke: Has anyone mentioned to you that the oceans are dying?
Karate dojo waku you should react to best of the best 2 and you should react to undisputed part 2 3 and 4 you can skip part 1 the first one wasn't all that good in the first place the others what the best
