- Here are 100 different martial arts kicks and kicking variations! Our background is in taekwondo but we tried to borrow kicks from as many styles as we could to build our own kicktionary. Including karate, capoeira, muy thai, kickboxing, taido, kungfu, tricking and even video games! 🥋 We did the best we could with the naming but most moves have many different names so finding the 'correct' one wasn't always easy.

i can do some of the kicks in this video because i don't learn any marital arts
Didn't practice any martial arts yet
But I can perform 15 to 20 of them perfectly

Yep you missed executing the back kick correctly the chambering of the kick is not low but rather waist height. The modern trend is the lazy way.

Our Dojo is primarily for Eskrima-Kali-Arnis & Classical Yoga, but we teach Karate as well. We have 12 kicks, front & back leg with Jumping, Flying, Scooting, Stepping, & Turning variations.
*33 Total kicks. 1) Front Kick - Snap & Thrust
2) Round Kick
3) Side Kick - Snap & Thrust, from Horse Stance
4) Angle Kick Upward
5) Angle Kick Downward
6) Hook Kick
7) Inward Crescent Kick
8) Outward Crescent Kick

Very nice video couple kicks i didnt know the names to. How many of these kicks can effectively land on a person though?
In theory you could land all of 'm but in reality probably not so much haha! The basics can all be effective when used properly but the more twists and tricks you add the harder it becomes to find a realistic use case for them. Great to train the flashy kicks and tricks anyways as a fun way of challenging oneself though! 🥋😎

It's amazing, but the difference in Taekwondo roundhouse kicks and kickboxing roundhouse is major, traditional roundhouse is seemingly almost same as their sidekick
Yes there can be big differences in how different people and different styles might execute seemingly the same kick or a kick with the same name. Would be an endless amount of kicks if every sub-variation would be included 🤠

So me and my girl friend met through anime and manga fan fiction, there is a manga record of ragnarok, where gods and humanity fight for the fate of humanity's survial, fight 5, a sumo restler vs heavens greatest brawler, UFC 2 showed sumo shall we say, "struggles" outside of it's own rules. as my girl friend got sick of hearing me rant about it and asked. "Harry! do you just want to write a what if Harry was in fight 5 instead?"
and that leads me to here, wanted an reference for flashy kicks that Shiva would use in his finial form, no more armour to cheat/hide behind, defense and stamina vs kicks and speed.
Although some kicks cross over with Japanese Ju Jitsu (My mine and base Martial Art) there are alot that don't.

How to do side back kick
Does anyone know the name of the kick (it’s like a question mark kick but in reverse) that starts off as a faked roundhouse to the body or leg then switches into a twist kick to the face!!!! I was hoping to see it in this video. There is something called the snake kick or the S-kick which is similar.

For as far as I know karate has also front kicks, side kicks and round kicks! Even tho the versions in the video are indeed primarily taekwondo style kicks :)

How to practice this kicks😔
It all builds on the fundamentals and basics; your front, round, side, hook and back kicks (and a couple more ofc..) After that it’s mostly just variations of those fundamentals with extra jumps and twists.🙏🏽
