      Yes, think of it as waiting for less push. Dirt Dobber doesn't get to paddle that often, and this was a bucket list river for him. Wilson is unique in that it canalizes water well, even at the lowest of flows. This allows a newer or less skilled paddler to experience the river at a much lower flow and without the push. Kind of like extreme class 2 instead of class 4. For a skilled paddler, more flow is much better on this river, like most others. And yes, it was definitely boney! LOL

    I just looked at the flow rate (after hurricane Helene) of the French Broad, Section 9, is flowing 56,200 CFS! You should make an update video, let us all know that everyone is okay! Stay safe!
