- In this video I will be showing you how to remove the B Pillars from a Golf MK5. I believe this method is the same on all MK5 VW's as well as most MK6.
I hope you enjoy the video!

Merci beaucoup....ça m'a bien aidé ! from France.
Tried the same on my Mk6. Did not go really well on the 1st time (right side) but goes way much better on the 2nd time (left side). Thanks for sharing this man. Really appreciate that! :)
Great video. I'm about to wrap my mk5 jetta with gloss black and your vid really helped.
Is it the same procedure as this video?
Really helpful video, thanks!
Thank you

great video. Hey bro i know this video is about 2 yrs old. I wanted to ask where can i get some wrap vinal for my pillars. Please let me know.Thanks.
wonder if it's the same for the mk7
what tool did you use to remove the screw that held the pillar in place,I am trying to remove my pillars on a 1997 ford expedition xlt, thanks love the video.
It was just an ordinary screw driver with a T15 bit. Not sure if it would be the same for your car though. Thanks for watching!
Nice!
Thanks !!
Where did you get the vinyl from?
Any idea where to find replacement B-Pillars? My driver's one is dented.
Thanks!

Nice video! My oem factory film wrap is peeling, i already ordered the new film but do you have any idea how to remove the old film? Thanks.
Hey thanks heaps !
From what I could tell from doing this it looked like it was painted. Is yours the gloss finish from factory or flat black like mine?
Sanding it down could be a way of removing it all to a smooth surface but do so only at own risk!
+ATC Media okay I installed my new pilar but I had trouble putting back the rubber seal and now my window is having problems closing...any advice?

When I did it I started putting the trim back with bottom piece of it first so I pushed it down all the way into the door trim, it took a bit of elbow grease and patience but it did finally work, then I just pushed it into the side, let me know how you go!
How to actually put back rubber. Nobody is showing that.
Is this the same for a vw jetta mk5? Thanks
I'd say so mate, I've got to repair mine 👍
do u know if it could be done the same way on a Mk6 ??? thx
Fred B I've read that it's the same process, maybe just double check if there are screws behind the rubber seal :) thanks for watching !
ATC Media ;-) thought u might know for sure so that i won't have to check ... thx for the lightning fast reply !!!
