I appreciate the info guy's I don't run the Columbia river I live in Montana and frequent the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers and I can definitely use the information!
Thank you! All your vids are awesome. I just bought a boat with that anchor system and needed these classes big time. I'm sure the experienced boaters appreciate you showing FNGs how to do this too.
advanced anchoring like tying to wing dams and high wind days. love the series
I like it! That is a great idea.
Seriously, thank you for doing these vids! I'm new to fishing on the Columbia and this series on anchoring has helped tremendously. Keep it up!
as always great information, pulling anchors can be one of the most hazardous things you do in a boat, great tips and many thanks !
Thanks for the info guys. So helpful!
Love the serious of videos! Keep it up! How about a video series on how to read a river for a drift boat.

So when. retrieving you tie the anchor line to the front?
If you dont tie the line to a cleat what do you tie it to? i tie to the bow eye and to my cleat in the stern on the side ??
Good video and agree that it is hazardous and practice reduces risk. Question: Why no life jackets?
Just wondering what anchor nest you used on your boat looks like it is on a slide so you can remove it?

Thanks for the suggestion, we will work it into the videos.
If you drive sideways before pulling in your rope, make sure you don't catch someone else's anchor line!
Great tip!
You can't catch fish if you're dead! Great tips, be careful and have fun!
