Thank you for your reply. I did watch your video and thought it was great. That is why I decided to hook up the e69 that I had. I have the P003 adapter. I connected the computer as per the diagram, when I tried to read it gave me the message that I needed the P003+ and MP001 programmer.
MP001 is a new adapter, they don't have it for sale yet

I have the 706 and have used it a bit. I will say one let down was I was trying to harvest a virgin file from a 6L80 through OBD. It read the eeprom quickly but after 10mins and no movement on the flash, I gave up. I know many others have said IO terminal will through OBD and most have completed 6L80 on the bench. So far, that’s been my only issue. The monthly updates are great as they are adding many new modules all the time.

Most worked, but after a update, reading xc90 ecu failed security, and eeprom size is incorrect in this menu. Not possibpe to reinstal a previous version. Support seems to enjoy a holiday. And have not yet reacted.

So is this a ecu reading tool similar to fox flash / kess3 / auto tuner? Will I be able to read ecu .bin file as if it is a master device and then edit the file on winols ???
Yes, and yes you can edit just like that and write back
Can it virginize global A? Considering i/O prog but this is a way better deal for coverage. 🤤
You’d have to have a virgin bin file to write to the pcm

The DC706 will not read or write the Bosch MED9.6.1. When you try to connect, you get a notice telling you that this function is only supported by the p003+ adapter and the MP001 programmer. What other surprises do they have in store for us. I couldn't even find a place to buy this hardware. Did I go wrong by buying OBDstar?

Hello friend. I have a question. The way i understand it so far is 2 modules are needed for this to be useful since cloning means copying from one and pasting on the other one as opposed to J2534 that would reflash a used TCM without needed to copy it from the another unit. Please help me if i am mistaken.
Hi if you had a virgin tcm file you could write it to a used unit, essentially making it like new with this tool..

Thank u for the video. Will this device make Gpec ecus to a Virgin state? I do Hemi swaps in jeeps, sometimes when we get swaps it doesn't come with an ecu, so I am wondering if I could take a Jeep 3.6 ecu and make it work with a charger 5.7 ecu. I know on the older ecus I could wipe out the flash and just put in a charger Cal etc. But trying these newer gpec ecus I have to currently purchase a use charger ecu and make modifications etc.
Yes you can, you must have the desired flash/eeprom files to write to the donor ecm.

I now prefer the DC706 as it's fully independent /portable but I also like fc-200.. once additional pcms are addedto dc706, it will be hard to go to fc-200..
I just got mine abouit two weeks ago. Cloned one computer and it worked but seems like there are alot of ecm's not in the database.
No one tool does it all but it’s good for what it does
