Getting to the time of year here in New York where using the oven for baking is not happening lol Although I am looking for a crispy thin chocolate chip cookie recipe for a good rainy day.
Hey they're in the description box but I'll copy them below for you. Recipe: Bake at 180ºC for 15-20 minutes or until slightly golden around the edges Biscuit: 225g us butter 150g caster sugar 400g plain flour 1tsp vanilla extract 1 m egg Roll out to 6mm thick Caramel: 200g dairy toffees 1 tbsp whole milk Top: 200-300g milk chocolate, good quality
It's from Dr Oetker. The vanilla extract i usually buy is liquid as well but It's their new product so thought i would try it, it's just their vanilla extract but it's thicker, more like a syrup! I love it! Hope that helps ☺️
Thank you Amy! They are delicious! Yes! It means it won't go back to that really hard toffee. The toffee's you can buy in the UK can be quite tough so this keeps them softer and more like a caramel. Don't add too much milk though otherwise it will be too runny! Hope that helps ☺️
Hey! I actually used Dairy Milk. For things like this i like to use the chocolate i enjoy eating rather than cooking chocolate, it gives it a nicer taste! ☺️

They look yum!!
Kate as you added milk does that mean that the caramel won’t go hard/ chewy again?
Will it stay softer? Thanks!
Thank you Amy! They are delicious!

InTheKitchenWithKate thankyou so much for your reply that is a massive help :) xx

What is the American version of a dairy toffee?
Thank you!
Yes, i believe it's your caramels. The ones you get in little plastic wrappers too! I think kraft make some! If they are soft, just use less milk!
Those cookies look delicious.
Thank you Stephanie
What is the measurements if you want to make it in cups, tablespoons, teaspoons, etc.
The recipe is under the video in the description box.
Redeemed13 I know that, but like the grams converted into cups and I’m not sure but is it called U.S. cooking measurements
There’s a link to a converter under the recipe.
Redeemed13 ok thanks
They look so yummy x
Thank you Shelley x
I'm early omg
Yay thank you 😀
