Bishop Barron did not help me on my way to my thinking procreation gift role or to my identity in need of having faith in union.
This is because as not consenting in uncertainty of his belief to be joined in a consecrated marriage, celibate vowed to man in Christ or male female vowed to God.
Hence, he did not, as he could not, keep in uncertainty of his belief on 20 July 2022 in his dialogue with Lex Fridman on "Christianity and the Catholic Church" the inseparability and qualitative equality of thinking role and having faith identity.
Later he did keep this on 20 December 2023 on an immediate reference point of Pope Francis' consecrated celibate marriage on 18 December 2023 authorising the document, Fiducia Supplicans of his Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith that kept this inseparability and qualitative equality.
This not keeping on 20 July 2022 by Bishop Barron was by his asserting consecrated celibate marriage is "a higher way of love" to consecrated male female marriage at You Tube podcast time 51: 34.
Pope Francis on 17 June 2021 did so consent in the matters of his Vatican state embezzled by ten of its citizens/employees, including Cardinal Angelo Becciu, procreation role gift charity donations and the Italian Parliament "Zan" anti-homophobia bill as an unacceptable risk of fraud on his identity in need of union.
In both cases on Pope Francis' consecrated marriage exercising on 17 June 2021 an absolute power of authorisation of respectively criminal indictments in his Vatican state court and a protest note to the Italian government, these embezzlers were convicted in his Vatican state court on 18 December 2023 and this bill was defeated in the Italian Parliament on 27 October 2021.

I read the Early Church Fathers and the Didache. Although they're not Scripture, it's very relevant to our times.
I'm evangelical protestant, but I use the Catholic Encyclopedia and Bishop Barron's sermons every week.
I don't dare tell my fellow Protestants, because they would kick me out of church and tell me I'm "unsaved".

Thank you very much. You’re very helpful in focusing on certain things that Bishop Barron has said.
I have listened to him for years because I happen to be Catholic.
The Bible is where it all comes together.
Each denomination tends to put a slant based on their individual thinking.
But going back to the early church is very helpful because they weren’t distracted by what we are distracted by today.
I’ve always thought that things are deeper and higher than what we just see.
You see the ocean when you’re standing at the beach. But if you dive down under, you’ll see a lot more when you get deeper.
Also, when you’re standing at the beach, you can look up at the stars in the night sky.
But if you go up into the heavens, and you get close to the stars, and if you look through telescopes, you’ll see something much higher and more intense.
So you can see the exterior basic part of these things, and you can go deeper or higher.
And so it’s your choice. Because when you go deeper and higher, you can absorb more and understand more and probably love more.
Thank you so much for sharing God!
You are a breath of fresh air, because you don’t differentiate people you go straight to the truth, and to the word, and the understanding that you’re getting from the Holy Spirit.
Most people say oh well, I’m not going to listen to that person because… Well, maybe we should just listen to everybody a little bit and take what we want and leave the rest.
That is a slogan of the 12 step program people grow and change when they don’t automatically cancel things out.
God bless you thank you again.

In all charity, after reading some of the comments, truth is truth. If Origen had truth, it is to be celebrated. If he had some advanced theological opinions that were later unsettling to the magisterium, so be it. We need to seek the beauty, truth, and goodness in the efforts of our teachers who took the risk of being misunderstood or making a blunder. We cannot disregard an entire corpus of work because of some later work or hopeful speculation. Follow sound teaching and consider the hope that is before all people, that we will be forever with our God.

Wish our priests in France would turn to the early fathers. Problem is Origen was not canonized because of conflicts that erupted 300 years after his death concerning his doctrines, so he suffers the stigma of heresy until today.

It doesn’t matter if someone is canonized in my opinion. I am a mid 70 year old very devoted Catholic and on fire. Holy spirit filled Christian. There are many saints in heaven that are not canonized. So start reading those that aren’t because they might have some amazing things to tell you. It’s the Holy Spirit. @tjseaney_  Місяць тому

From my understanding, he was anathematized. The distinction to be made is that you don’t have to believe his false doctrine to appreciate his approach to scripture. It would be similar to liking Aristotle for his contributions to philosophy and also to theology. Aristotle wasn’t a Catholic and you can appreciate his approach. Hope that helps.

Origen is not a Father of the Church. Origen was a good man who went to certain extremes hence he has never held the title of a Father of the Church. Modernists, like the Bishop, usurp him in order to give Sacred Scripture a merely "poetic" twist and to justify their "reasonable hope that hell" is empty nonsense. This error know as apokatastasis is nothing more than pantheism in Christian clothes.

One cannot "be Catholic" as an identity in need of union. Instead, one can do catholicism as a procreation gift role.
This groomed inversion is for economic advantage by tax-exemption embezzlements and lower insurance cost by fraud for families of the groomers who are 'familyist' family members in diseased identities grooming their psychologically and or emotionally vulnerable family members with this occult as hidden, incest connected as substitute mate, economic advantage with an inducement of falsely purported "higher vocation" status of, or association with consecrated celibate marriage vowed to man in Christ to consecrated male female marriage vowed to God.
