a wrap around desk and space to do my traditional art. but I guess to each is own.
What he said! I've been doing this for over 5 years, if anyone feels intimidated check my IG stories to see my trashy (literally) setup where I shared a desk with my Dad in between two pieces of furniture lol.

Happy to hear this! Alot of people think I do this to 'flex' but its because I want to show people whats possible. There are kids who will see me, my studio, and dream even bigger. There are people who are confused at where to start. There are even other professionals that simply don't have time to test out everything I do, and they benefit from my videos. Its all inspiration. Also everything looks better on camera xD

I am just about the same with my desk setup leaning more on the practical function instead of the museum minimalist pieces that we often see. I always wonder if they get anything done working on such a desk. Anyway, looking forward to the room tour to see how its evolved. Your Japanese touches in the last video room tour was inspiring. I do! It's a little overwhelming at first, but obviously every item serves a purpose. Quest about your recording/streaming setup. Do you experience delays? I am trying to find a solution to record art on the iPad and currently Ive started just doing the iPad screen capture, but I would love to find a more effective way. @@ergojosh

love it! mine is with a normal tablet but the keyboard is allways a must in fact that is hard to fit in the desk the screen to drawing and any full keyboard, i also have many small ones like 60% or so

I still think you're the Marques Brownlee of the drawing scene you're a big inspiration keep up the great work! My ipad set up is just my ipad air and the logitech keyboard/case that combo seems to work well! But that ipad stand thing looks really cool I kind of want a stand like that. Sometimes having a beter grip on the ipad sounds like a good idea. Also stands would help my bad gamer posture 😂

Having a powerful, quality air filter helps! I keep a very close eye on the air quality since I spend so much time at home. Helps remove any dust in the air before it even settles on my stuff. Ill do an automated/home/lifestyle routine video someday.

I made my own desk. 6 ' by 3 ', with simple pine planks, an old drill, a screwdriver, and an old hand saw. Al screw up to reinforce the legs (pine too 3" X 1.5") I need room for my asus 32", my Alienware 17 Rtx, 24 Huion tablet Studio lamp, and now my new iPad 12 pro.
I need someone to trust me like josh trusts these desks

@@ergojosh it´s just amazing how the Ipad Pro became such a staple in the digital art. I do also work primarily on my Ipad Pro (2017, planning to get a new model soon). The fact that i can move freely in my apartment or bring it anywhere is fantastic. I was almost buying a Cintiq but as you said, too big aahahahah
I have a moon lander keyboard, and I also have an iPad pro- I had no idea you might be able to use it to control procreate, that's insane! I was never able to find any resources online that said that you could potentially do that.

What cables do you use while the iPad is in the sketch board pro. I’ve had to test a bunch of Thunderbolt cables to make sure they aren’t too think or are durable enough for the Sketchboard. Great video!
the apple braided TB4/usb3,2 cables have been the goat for me. Second place are Plugable/Anker cables. Those are two brands that have been reliable for me.

My biggest challenge is that everything I do has to be in a prone position...arg...USB C is HORRIBLE for this, especially since I have friendly cats (no I am not getting rid of them, there is no better antidepressant). My connections at the computer break or the cable does. I don't find anything not wired works as well as wired.
"Laptops" are not "laptops" any more and it is driving me nuts. It needs to be fast, non-glare, usable outside if possible, etc. I want the best possible performance.
Also $1,000s of dollars on mice...before on replacing the trackman red ball mouse every 2 months before it went obsolete and now I have about 5 different kinds to switch around when the pain gets too much. I wish the trackman could come back. My speed dropped by half and I am constantly moving and renaming files.
So I really want a display that I can look at and draw with the image directly on it...liked the smallest wacom ok...but would rather be looking at the drawing surface.

I currently have a monitor, and a drawing tablet, Wacom I think, and my laptop to the right. I have to turn when I want to change something, or type a title for my artwork on the keyboard. Any suggestions on stuff to buy? Or changing hot keys for shortcuts?
Could you explain how you're able to use your Zsa halfmoon with procreate Ipad?! :O I thought they were wired and you couldn't use them with tablets?
