My wee 5 year old gt grand daughter and I love doing arts together and she was intrigued by your video. This made me get my gel plate and paints out and, boy, did we have fun. Thank you. Loved the music too.
Seriously, loved this video so much I watch 3 times in a row. Beautiful colors. Fun layers.Amazing Art work. Thank for sharing your techniques . I learned so much . I was singing w/ excitement! I’ve had my gelli plate out for 3 weeks now. Lol. Thx so much.
Leuk Birgit, draden en of garens/touw werken op stof ook altijd heel mooi
Love love love this. TFS 👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Birgit, i have noticed how, over time, you have really grown, in your artfulness and play. I have enjoyed all your videos and like below, I could watch you all day too. XTIBBYX
Love the possibilities!
Wow striking. I really think you are the best 💝
This was so much fun to watch! I love how you just kept taking it to the next level. And that you never cleaned the plate.
Just AWESOME!🥳
Great video to watch, so many ideas in my head now. Thank you for sharing, keep safe xxx xxx xxx
I could watch you do this all day! I really love how every one of these turned out, Stunning! 💗

These are so awesome!!!
Love how these turned out! I’ll have to try it out for myself! Thanks for sharing!
I love your videos, Birgit! This is truly mesmerizing to watch!
Creative and inspiring!
THANKS SO MUCH! Love to watch!!! Much appreciated! Will print tomorrow again!
This is wonderful
Watching you reminds me of watching magic shows when I was a kid 💐 🎉 Also, I really appreciate the encouragement to keep going until I have something I like. I tend to quit when I have an OK print because I’m afraid I’ll “ruin” it. Watching you print over beautiful layers was so helpful!
Always inspirational!! Thank you😉
Nicely done Birgit. Thank you.
Cool! Thanks for sharing! 😊❤
Leuk Birgit!
Gorgeous!
stunning and such a joy to watch, thanks for sharing !
Very cool! ❤️
Beautiful ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Birgit, thank you so much I really really love 💕 those prints, they’re so stunning and gorgeous and breathtakingly beautiful....Stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Cool.
Made me think of other things that could be used.
Strings with beads or shells, various sizes of rubber bands, bungee cords, shoe/boot laces, ribbon scrap from silk Saris, pulled roving, plant fiber (shredded palm trunk/leaves, wild grasses), etc.
Thankyou for answering my question!
Luv!!!
Thank you! This was an awesomely inspiring demo. I plan to use this technique primarily on fabric but will also apply it to handmade papers. I’m wondering, in the case of paper, which would be better to apply after fully drying: A) modge podge or B) resin? I could see affixing sets of the threaded prints to wood and then adding an overlay of one of the two. Look forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks, again!
Que bellos efectos y con cosas que tenemos en casa!!!! 😍😍😍😍 que papel usas?
Un abrazo desde México 😘🤗😍
I'm using heavy copier paper.
Do I have to use liquid acrylics? Is there a recommended way to thin-out my heavy body acrylics for my gelli plate?
I would love to know also! Thank you!!
You don't need liquid acrylics, I'm using both soft body and liquids. Heavy body acrylics don"t spread so easily on the plate so i would not recommend them. You can use a fluid matte medium to make your acrylics more fluid, like Liquitex or DecoArt Matte Medium. Don't use water, that will just break down the pigments.
