Somehow I imagine the creators dog chewing up a piece of cardboard and she cried "Eh Voila" and another great idea is born using a simple tool. Wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
I love how simple, easily accessible cardboard is used to make gorgeous prints. Thank you, Birgit, for this wonderful video. I would be interested in seeing how to use these prints in other art.
Birgit those prints are stunning and fantastic and beautiful and amazing..... I really love them......And your incredible too thank you so much xxx Mags
iamdawt The second piece of cardboard is from IKEA. They use that instead of packing peanuts inside their furniture boxes. One of my favourite textures!
TheCommanda13 Just ask your friends. The cardboard comes in various sizes of rectangles and squares. I have a piece that covers a bit more than half my 12x14 plate!
It’s refreshing to see someone being practical and creative and clever without trying to sell 37 expensive and unnecessary crappy accessories like in the ding dong quilting world.
Thank you. I have a question for you, please. How do you keep your paint from drying out before you start printing. My paint dries too fast. I am using liquitex paint. thank you again.
@@birgitkoopsen See, that is what I needed to hear! Great question and excellent answer. Binding in journal as background pages, so you have a beautiful place for doodles or to stamp on, etc. I am a novice artist and this is a great way to get started!
Love the beautiful colors combinations, the new ideas that don’t involve buying new supplies, and the new music. Your creativity is so inspiring.

Thank you. I have a question for you, please. How do you keep your paint from drying out before you start printing. My paint dries too fast. I am using liquitex paint. thank you again.
Liquitex paints should be wet long enough for you to pull a print. But if you struggle you could add some slow dry fluid.
@@birgitkoopsen Thank you.
Wow❣️
Those are beautiful!! What's your favorite way to use your gel prints?
sometimes I bind them into a little art journal and use them as background pages, sometimes they become collage material :)
