I really liked how you showed foundation for all skin types!! I absolutely love this channel because you are so professional, and you have an amazing personality that shines through in your videos!
The Clinique Skin Perfecting foundation is so great! Always get tons of compliments when I wear it. I use a damp beauty blender with it and use an illuminating primer.
In the USA if you purchase a product and keep the receipt and you don't like the product you can return it and get your money back. In Ireland, you cannot do that. I find based on this that I will make sure to get a take home sample first before committing to making a purchase. I bought the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation and for me I do like how this looks on my skin and how it stays.
SephoraBelle samples. Always! No matter how great the products look in videos, one must colour-match and then bring a sample home for a test-run. Even if you are from the US and you can return the full sized product, I find it a shameful selfish waste of product.

Brigina Walton It's not just drugstore foundations that you cannot return in Ireland... its also high end products that you cannot return. I agree Tati does some excellent reviews... I know she loves Milani... but you cannot buy that in Ireland...you'd have to order it online.
For the UD All Nighter foundation, I had the same issue with the L'Oréal promatte infallible foundation when I first time used it, but I found that if I used a good amount of a silicone primer (I use one of the ELF primers) it helped so much with blending. You can even mix in a pump of primer into the foundation to help it move on the skin. When I got a sample of the All Nighter foundation, I had a similar issue, but then I mixed in a pump of my ELF primer, and it blended out like a dream. I feel like the Infallible and All Nighter foundations are very similar in that they are thick, long wearing, great for oily skinned folk like myself. So if you have dryer skin, it can be difficult to blend them out. Mixing in a pump of a dimethicone primer will help simulate having oiler skin, which will help with blending, and making a more another even texture.
Jamie-after seeing you list the Clinique foundation in your worst, it made me wonder how I made it work so well so I used it the next day. I mix the Josie Maran Vibrancy foundation (few drops in the center of the face) mostly for color-I use 0.5 Breeze in the Clinique and its too dark. Adding that foundation to a very heavy, full coverage foundation makes a perfect combo. This is the only combo that doesn't breakdown around my nose. I have normal to dryish skin but around my nose is some type of black hole of foundation. I do apply this combo with a brush then go back with a sponge and remove any excess.
I love the Smashbox 15 hour hydrating foundation and the Born this way from Too Faced. My least favourite is actually the MUFE Ultra HD foundation, that looked soooo horrible on my dry skin, sinilar to what the Anastasia looked on you Jaime! I was crazy disappointed :(
Just make sure you get a sample with more than one pump :) I purchased the bottle after wearing it once since it looked okay at first and I really wanted to like it, but sadly it didn't work out for my dry/flakey skin. I gave it to my friend and it looks gorgeous on her normal/slightly dehydretated skin. It's pretty personal, how your skin reacts and all
Jamie Paige oh my god you just replied me 😱 I want to buy it and I think I'll go next week, hopefully I'll love it! Good job on your channel! I'm Italian and can honestly say: Bravissima!
I agree with most of your list. The KGD is sooooo bomb! But, I actually love the ABH stick foundation. You have to work with it, but it has become my go to for natural every day coverage. I have to super hydrate beforehand (usually a beauty oil) and I use a damp beauty blender. On my forehead, where I am more dry, it can sometimes look cakey so I use my fingers. The warmth of my fingers makes it blend perfectly seamless. I also tend to let it sit on my skin before doing any blending, because that makes it blend so much better. It seems like a lot of work, but the end result is so good. I get compliments on my skin all the time when I wear it. I'm in Texas, where all non-water based makeup melts off your face within the hour, and it really holds up so well to heat and oil. I also love the Vanish foundation, but use it more as a concealer. It clings to dry patches so terribly for me!
I really am stunned by how much similar opinions we have on makeup you and I!! it's insane. I totally agree with your picks for worst foundations (especially the UD and Clinique one) great reviews!!!
My skin is super dry, no blemishes, a bit redness on the cheeks and also have deep set of undereyes so my undereyes look so dark even it doesn't. I love MUFE water blend so much to even up my skin tone. It's so good if you don't have many things to cover. If you want to have a good medium coverage I suggest ultra HD stick ;)
Really love your eyeshadows! Especially the peachy color all over your lid. Would you mind share the info of the eyeshadows you wore? Thank you so much!
That milani foundation was in my unfavorites video. It was too dark even in the lightest shade! But thats probably good bc most foundations seem to be geared toward lighter skin, just not good for me personally.
the best is Milani 2-in-1 foundation. i can't affrord high end products, so im always watching video what's the best in drugstore. The number one is the Milani..
I hated the Maybelline Dream Velvet foundation too! I also have super dry skin. I love the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation... That's my holy grail for sure!
KBellaBeauty that's my holy grail foundation too! Since we have similar skin types (I have very dry skin) can you possibly recommend another foundation you like :)? I'm in the market for another one but I'm so nervous because I have very sensitive skin D:
Michelle Guardado giorgio Armani luminous silk and makeup forever hd liquid foundation are my holy grails as someone with extremely dry skin. also I like too faced born this way foundation. good luck!
Omg the Clinique beyond perfecting foundation is one of my faves!!! I apply it into my face with the doe foot and then blend it out with a flat kabuki and then smooth everything over with a damp beauty blender. Moisturizing primer is key because of the drying effect. I'll usually do the LM primer in radiance with porefessional in my problem areas.
Grace Fuizzotto I also love this foundation. I have normal skin, sometimes a little oily. I just apply it with a damp sponge - learn from watching Kandee Johnson, she loves this foundation too! 💕💕💕
At the end of summer I had a tan and I needed another foundation to match my skin colour, so following one of yours recommendation in another video I bought Bourjois because I did not want to spend money in a high end brand at that moment. ohhh my!!! I absolutely loved it!!!! Thanks to you!
I tried the all nighter foundation and it looked terrible on my dry skin! I love your nails btw, I could never pull them off but they are giving me life!
two of your worst foundations work amazing on my skin... the UD all nighter and the Clinique one... and i think it´s because of my skin type , it´s combination, i also think that might be the reason , why they did´t work on your dry skin?
Great info... that Maybelline was a no go for me too, but the Dream Liquid Mousse airbrush finish comes with a pump and is easy for me to apply with a foundation brush.
Hi there. New to your channel. I have to mention that I am loving the Urban Decay Naked foundation - it is so easy to apply, and gives a light to medium coverage that feels like no make up at all. I have mature skin, so I appreciate that it doesn't pile up and cake. I also love samples I've tried of Nars sheer glow. I would love to know what some of the shades are for your foundations - I think I have a similar skin tone to you, so it would help me. Great reviews and tutorials. Thanks!
all nighter foundation is my fav!! i use two pumps on the back of my hand and then use a beauty blender! really easy to blend! would love to see how you apply this!!
I have tried all sorts of experiments with the UD all nighter and the best way I've found is to pump one pump onto back of hand and apply lightly with a damp beauty sponge. I've tried every other way and that gives the best finish...i knew it oxidised so just went a shade lighter and it literally dries darker as I'm using it so once my make up is done it doesn't change. Lasts all day and everything goes on top beautifully
I really liked the all nighter! It doesn't oxidize on me at all. The Josie Maran brand rep at my work told me that if you try it with the finishing balm from Josie that it doesn't oxidize. I swatched it on my coworker with that underneath and it didn't oxidize! :)
the Clinique foundation is my favourite one, the key is to use tiny amount, apply with a kabuki brush, really work into the skin and go through the top with a damp beauty blender
I really want to buy it but I'm unsure about the colour. On the Clinique website it says it gets lighter when blended out, on the Sephora reviews people say it gets much darker when it oxydizes and youtubers I watch didn't mention it changing colour at all. What's your experience? I'm so confused haha
Just discovered you yesterday and I love you already! We have the same skin type, so I really enjoy your foundation videos 😊 The MUFE Water Blend is my everyday foundation - love it! I also got the Estée Lauder Doublewear to work on me, even though it's meant for oily skin. I moisturize well, use an illuminating primer, sheer the coverage out with a sponge, and use a dewy/hydrating setting spray. Works like a dream! The UD Naked Skin foundation is also great and definitely underrated.
Great for me !!! I'm glad you told me that you tried and didn't like the Clinique beyond perfecting foundation, I've been eying it for the longest and could not bring myself to buy it. Loved this video 😊
Hi Jaime, I work for Macy's. ABH stick foundation was created for oily skin person. If you are dry this foundation will make your dry skin look even drier. UD all nighter is my least favorite to sell. It oxides 2 shades on most. Smashbox foundation is great. So is Naked skin. Great video.
The UD all nighter dries very fast and does not work well with anything oily. I have to use a regular moisturizer that sinks into the skin dries and work in sections with a damp sponge. I hope that helps
try the clinique silk foundation. I do love the clinique beyond perfecting foundation. I do mix a little moisturizer or put a dewy primer under it. I actually carry it in my kit.
YASSS....I have been needing a new foundation and was bouncing between the Armani or the Koh Gen Do! I LOVE the Tarte Rainforest of the sea foundation but want to try something else for winter.
I love the Urban Decay All Nighter. It is my go-to for events and nights out. I am super pale and I use a damp BB to blend it out. I have used it with many primers but my fav one is the NYX Angel Veil.
I love both my Anastasia stick foundation and the Urban Decay all Nighter, but I have very oily skin. I would recommend using both foundations with some beauty oil (Josie Maran or Laura Mercier) and a wet beauty blender!
That milani foundation was in my unfavorites video. It was too dark even in the lightest shade! But thats probably good bc most foundations seem to be geared toward lighter skin, just not good for me personally.
i love the UD all nighter and the Clinique 2 in 1! They both have great coverage and imo don't look super cakey. I use a brush with the Clinique and a super damp BB with the UD.
What a great video. My foundation cocktail consists of the following: I mix Josie Maran argan oil with cover fx candlelight drops I mix with either my mabeline fit me liquid foundation or my loreal infallible pro glow foundation on more fancy nights I use stila stay all day foundation and I love it.
I had the same feeling with the clinique beyond perfecting, but I mixed coconut oil with it and only applied a tiny bit. It covered well and looked good too!! I hope this helped.
What's your skin type? I'm combo dry and I haaaateeee the Hourglass foundation... It looks very cakey on me and it sinks into my pores really badly. I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear even though I'm more on the dry side because it makes my skin look like porcelain. You need to exfoliate very well before applying it and moisturize but for me is Top 5.
+Cloe Stein Muñoz I am dry! I find the Way that the foundation is applied makes such a big difference! Try blending it out with a brush and then really pressing a very damp beauty sponge into your skin to smooth everything out and to get rid of any excess product! I hope this helps :)
oh my goodness, the clinique foundation is my favorite!! I have really dry skin and I feel like it makes my skin look really young and almost perfect. but I will say that I can't set it. I have to let it dry or it will get way too cakey. And I am going to try the hourglass foundation if it is the last thing i do! Love the video!
Thank you for including all skin types! I'm curious to try the Make Up Forever foundation, I typically use Urban Decays One&Done most days otherwise I use the Maybelline Fit Me(though I feel like it does not keep me matte). Do you have a video on your favorite primers? I don't break out often, I just end up oily throughout the day(I'm 33 and personally do not want to look dewy)😊
I'm a combo oily gal and LOVE luminous silk! I don't need highlighter most days but it doesn't make me oily. I wouldn't wear it in deep summer or if I'm going to be in a humid area, but for all other times? Holy grail. I use a small amount and get a light medium coverage (you can still see my freckles). I also love the Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturizer for sheer coverage or in the summer/humid areas.
So you included 1 that I hate in your favorites and 2 in your worst that I love. The way you described the Anastasia foundation stick is the way I felt about the hourglass foundation stick. And as for the urban decay all nighter, I hated at first too but was determined to like it. Finally I found that if I used half of what they suggested and applied with my fingers it went on more smoothly. Then went over with a beauty blender. Doesn't look cakey at all covers all. Sometimes I don't even need concealer because it covers all my redness. The Clinique one I got as a sample. It can be cakey if applied too much. Applied the same way I did the urban decay and works great. However I only use those when I need really full coverage. My go to one are Clinique moisture surge tinted moisturizer until it runs out (they discontinued it!! 😭) and smashbox camera ready BB water
Loved this format, and you look absolutely stunning!!😘 I just retried the Maybelline one, thinking I didn't give it a fair shot. I ended up actually throwing it out, as it was so cakey~looking no matter how I applied it😕 I do like using the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation, but more as a concealer to add extra coverage for my uneven areas.
I am always looking for the perfect foundation so I was very interested in this video. The only one I've tried that Jaime reviewed is the Clinique Beyond Perfecting and Jaime is right - it is very heavy and made me break out. I had to return it. I tried MUF and it is a good foundation but oxides on me. My favorite I found by accident at Kohl's. It is the Cargo HD. Every time I wear it I get compliments. I also like the BECCA Illuminating foundation - it will be good for the drier months. L'Oreal Pro Glow is ok for the price but it does feel like it will slip right off without setting it and seems to just set on my skin. Love your channel!!
I'm combination and I love luminous silk but it wears off on my oily parts in about 4 hours after I start wearing it ... Bummer cuz it looks amazing on the skin !
I have dry skin and my favorite foundation combo is the Lancôme Teint Miracle mixed with a little of their Teint idole 24hr!!! I also really love the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk (liquid and powder)! Have you tried the new Lancôme Teint Idole 24hr cushion foundation? I'm super interested in it but I'm wondering how it works for dry skin. I find the liquid on its own can be a little dry on me but typically cushion foundations are more hydrating. I hope... Great video!!
when you are using the clinique foundation try applying a very tiny amount so 2 dots on each cheek one on the chin and 2 on forehead and blend with beauty blender I had the exact same problem! make sure you use a hydrating primer also
Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream - Medium coverage comparable to a foundation! Wetnwild Coverall Foundation - not many shades but full matte coverage Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Powerless - full coverage demi matte finish Combo Oily Skin girl :)
Love the Clinique foundation! Every time I wear it I get asked what foundation I use. I have normal to dry skin and it doesn't cling to any patches nor does it look heavy what so ever. Try using a damp beauty blender!
I love the Clinique one! I really didn't have the Cakey problem! I just use a really good smoothing primer over textured of dry areas. Also I think beauty blender probably works best.
I liked the Clinique perfecting foundation, I've used it with a few different primers and during the summer. I loved the way it looked on my skin, it made it look natural and it was so light on my skin. I've used it with Benefit pores no more primer, the Becca backlight primer, and the Nivea shave balm for men in sensitive. I would like to see a video on the top 5 and bottom 5 makeup primers. Or the top and bottom mascaras.
My friend uses the dream velvet foundation every day and it looks good on her! She has more of a combination to oily skin so maybe that's why it works better for her. Very helpful video, I'll give the milani one a try!
I always tend to agree with all of your recommendations, I have dry skin as well, and have been wanting to try the MUF Water Blend foundation ever since you and KathleenLights mentioned it in past videos. Some of my favorite makeup has entered my life as a result of your recommendations and I really appreciate your opinions and the work you put into all your videos. Thanks Jamie! Also, what are you wearing on your lips in this video? The color is so flattering on you :)
I love the UD All nighter. I dot it on my face with my finger, spread it with an IT cosmetics brush and then pat in with a Beauty Blender. It does oxidize a lot and only works when I'm very tan. But it stays put and and does not move even on my very oily skin. Plus it doesn't look flat matte on me like the other foundations that stay put on my skin, it looks satiny.
How long does it take for the UD All Nighter to oxidize? I've heard about how it oxidize, so I'm pretty scared as I bought it online. So, I tested it and left it on half of my face for around 10 minutes, but it didn't oxidize that much. How long do you think it takes to finish its oxidizing thing? Haha. At point I think it's great, but I'm not sure if 10 minutes is good time testing. Thanks.
Jamie, you look so chic and lovely here! "Soft matte and hydrating" doesn't have to be an oxymoron. Please try and review the Gressa minimalist correcting foundation serum. It's my holy grail: fairly light coverage with one layer but totally buildable to cover the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. It's all natural I think and feels more like skincare than makeup and never looks cakey. The base is actually broccoli seed oil which is basically nature's version of a silicone texture. Plus it's cruelty free, which is a must for me! It's not really matte, it's more of a satin finish to me, and it just looks better as the day goes on. I've never gotten so many compliments on my skin (esp texture) as I have since starting to use this foundation. I just bought my second bottle! (Just make sure you shake it really well, and squeeze the dropper inside the bottle a few times because since it's natural, it does separate. Love your channel!
I use the Clinique beyond perfecting with a drop or two of beauty oil mixed in. It helps it blend out and look more hydrating. I also have very dry skin. Thanks for the video!
Love these videos! I love that you have a solid makeup background and it's more than just a hobby! You have great knowledge to share I truly trust your opinion
My skin used to be combo to oily, but now due to my pregnancy, my skin changed to more normal. I don't know if that will last, but right now I have been loving the Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua. It looks so fantastic on the skin - so natural, and it feels like I have nothing on at all. I also love the It Cosmetics CC cream, which I know you love too! I loved that one before my skin changed and love it now!
I have the Ud all nighter, I love it .. but I've heard for dry skin it can look bad. I never had trouble blending it. I use a pore filling primer. I've used brushes and sponges. I prefer to use a brush to get it on then a sponge around my nose and pores
The Clinique and Maybelline foundation you don't like are literally my two favourite foundations! A little goes a long way and I apply them with my beauty blender. I've found they work best when I color correct instead of full-on concealing because they're both medium-full coverage in my opinion. When I do that they look really natural on my skin!
The MAC face and body is my favorite foundation of all time and I hear that the makeup forever one you mentioned is similar. Also, could you recommend a good foundation for mature skin that is a little less expensive?
I take the Clinique foundation and put a lot of it on the back of my hand and then add a drop or two of beauty oil in it. It blended out beautifully on my skin when I did it that way rather than just applying it directly to my skin with the giant applicator. I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear that foundation with that technique so maybe try it that way if you haven't already. Good luck and I love your videos!!
I love the Estee Edit glowing balm :) I have combination skin, and when I wear it I set my T-zone with the Laura mercier translucent powder and the rest of my face with the Mac mineralized powder so i can keep the glow and it last me all day.
i have the all nighter foundation and it blends out perfectly on my skin! it could be because i'm really oily in my t zone but i don't know. i used a rt expert face brush and then a beauty blender to blend a little more
jamie,i love your channel. what do you think about the bareminerals foundations? or the mac foundations? could you do a video of best foundations for fdy skin? Thank you :)
The Clinique foundation is one of my favorites!!!! I use the big tarte blending brush to apply it and it looks pretty natural on my skin. I also have very oily skin but it is one of my every day foundations because it looks so lightweight on me.
I love the immaculate foundation by hourglass! I have super oily skin and it's one of the only foundations I've found that stays matte most of the day and gives me pretty decent coverage, making it totally worth the price for me :)
I have very dry skin and I love the Clinique beyond perfecting foundation. I love the Clinique range in general from skin care all the way into make up I have patches of eczema on my face and it's one of the only foundations I have found that doesn't stink into the dry patches or dry out my skin. I get a very healthy looking glow off it but you can tell I am wearing a full coverage foundation xx
I love the Milani foundation too! You should try mixing all nighter with a more hydrating foundation, like the loreal pro glow. It makes it so much easier to apply but still retain the longevity and coverage :)
Lately I've been loving maybelline dewy and smooth, applied with brush slightly sprayed with mac fix plus. I ordered armani luminous silk but never received it. I think ann hope its going to work with my dry skin. Thanks Jaimie.
I love the UD foundation. It does oxidize a lot but I noticed that the shade I use in the Naked foundation was still the same, it was just extremely light at application and then warmed up as I was blending it out. I use it for night time going out and for the day I mix a pump of it with another light weight foundation for a full coverage effect because I do find it heavy alone during the day
I recently bought the Estée Lauder double wear foundation, and I love it! I have combo skin and never have to touch up my Tzone with it. I also bought the L'Oréal infallible pro matte foundation in a tanner shade for when I use sunless tanner, and I would almost call it a dupe. Both stay beautiful all day on me! I'm also loving the maybeline fit me dewy foundation and loreal lumi cushion for days I want more glow on my skin, but I do find that I have to touch those up. The MUFE HD foundation used to be my holy grail, but after trying these others, I'll probably never go back. It seems to really sink into my pores and break up by the end of the day on me. Really want to try the Giorgio Armani luminous silk! Maybe during the vib sale
I LOVE the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation! I used a wet 'n wild foundation brush (from the pink and white collection) to buff it into the skin and then pounce with a damp beauty blender and I find it super easy to move. Just make you you have a good primer on!
I agree with you about the Urban decay all nighter. I'm currently still using mine but I usually mix it with another more hydration foundation so it's easier to blend. I've been loving it with the Too Faced Born this Way, I usually add just a little bit of the All nighter because the coverage is really great. Hope this helps... 😊
I really liked how you showed foundation for all skin types!! I absolutely love this channel because you are so professional, and you have an amazing personality that shines through in your videos!
best and worst bronzers please!! love your videos as always
Yesss! Would love to see bronzers!!
Jamie I really thing you and your channel are something special. I watch alot of youtubers and your style is great... you are a natural.
thank you so much Paula!
The Clinique Skin Perfecting foundation is so great! Always get tons of compliments when I wear it. I use a damp beauty blender with it and use an illuminating primer.
Does it oxydise much? On the Sephora website people say it gets much darker so I really don't know what shade I should buy

I find based on this that I will make sure to get a take home sample first before committing to making a purchase. Thank you for letting me know its the same policy in Hong Kong... wishing you a lovely day.
same for australia :( cannot return something that has been opened so drugstore foundations are a big hit or miss and usually end up in wasting money!
SephoraBelle samples. Always! No matter how great the products look in videos, one must colour-match and then bring a sample home for a test-run.
Even if you are from the US and you can return the full sized product, I find it a shameful selfish waste of product.

You're actually the most helpful youtuber out there thank you so much for actually making makeup easy and fun
For the UD All Nighter foundation, I had the same issue with the L'Oréal promatte infallible foundation when I first time used it, but I found that if I used a good amount of a silicone primer (I use one of the ELF primers) it helped so much with blending. I was crazy disappointed :(
Viktoria Nemeth I want to buy the MUGE ultra HD stick, do h think is it different? :(
Just make sure you get a sample with more than one pump :) I purchased the bottle after wearing it once since it looked okay at first and I really wanted to like it, but sadly it didn't work out for my dry/flakey skin. I gave it to my friend and it looks gorgeous on her normal/slightly dehydretated skin. It's pretty personal, how your skin reacts and all
I NEED to try that smash box foundation,,, have heard such great things!
totally different!!! The MUFE is awesome - one of my faves.
Jamie Paige oh my god you just replied me 😱 I want to buy it and I think I'll go next week, hopefully I'll love it! Good job on your channel! I'm Italian and can honestly say: Bravissima!
Jamie, I am in love with this makeup look! Do you have a tutorial for this makeup look?
I agree with most of your list. The KGD is sooooo bomb!
But, I actually love the ABH stick foundation. You have to work with it, but it has become my go to for natural every day coverage. Please do a video on this makeup look. It's amazing. The quintessential fall look.
I really am stunned by how much similar opinions we have on makeup you and I!! it's insane. I totally agree with your picks for worst foundations (especially the UD and Clinique one) great reviews!!!
Agree, the UD didn't work on me either!!:( So disappointing.
Just started using my fave Loreal True Match again for the winter. I'm in N2. Love it!
So agree about the UD All Nighter! And I have the opposite skin type as you - it oxidized soo badly on me too :( 👎🏼
My skin is super dry, no blemishes, a bit redness on the cheeks and also have deep set of undereyes so my undereyes look so dark even it doesn't.
The milani foundation is so dark on me! And I have the lightest shade! I love it but there's no shade for me 😔
That's true the shade range sucks. I heard shade 2 is lighter than shade 1.
That milani foundation was in my unfavorites video. It was too dark even in the lightest shade! But thats probably good bc most foundations seem to be geared toward lighter skin, just not good for me personally.
Janell Barr mix in cover fox custom cover drops in N10
If you have lighter skin, i know you can mix in a white mixer to the foundation you'd like to lighten it..One brand that has one is nyx 😊
Leslie R You have to do a ton of drops if you're pale, you'll use up all your lightener

the best is Milani 2-in-1 foundation. i can't affrord high end products, so im always watching video what's the best in drugstore. The number one is the Milani..
yess
i can def do that! :)
Yesss PLEASE!!
Michelle Guardado giorgio Armani luminous silk and makeup forever hd liquid foundation are my holy grails as someone with extremely dry skin. also I like too faced born this way foundation. good luck!
Amber Dickinson lol girl you named all my favorite foundations lol! I have dehydrated skin
Is this makeup tutorial coming up? Looks really pretty! And loving the new background, would love to see a room tour, whenever completely set :)
Chrati1 I bought it because of Kandee too 😍
At the end of summer I had a tan and I needed another foundation to match my skin colour, so following one of yours recommendation in another video I bought Bourjois because I did not want to spend money in a high end brand at that moment. ohhh my!!! I absolutely loved it!!!! Thanks to you!
I tried the all nighter foundation and it looked terrible on my dry skin! I love your nails btw, I could never pull them off but they are giving me life!
I've heard it's super dry.
my favourite foundation is from No7. the Stay Perfect is so good , I personally love it.
two of your worst foundations work amazing on my skin... the UD all nighter and the Clinique one... and i think it´s because of my skin type , it´s combination, i also think that might be the reason , why they did´t work on your dry skin?
Estée Lauder Double Wear is my all time favorite!!!! Love it!!!
Will you do a tutorial on how you apply the Hourglass stick foundation? :)
Thanks!
I love the Clinique one!! I use a RT stippling brush so it's not so heavy. You should give it another try!
I LOVE the Dream Velvet foundation! It looks like skin on me.
all nighter foundation is my fav!! i use two pumps on the back of my hand and then use a beauty blender! really easy to blend! would love to see how you apply this!!
I totally agree with you on the worst ones, Jamie, try Shu Uemura Light Bulb Liquid and By Terry Sheer Expert foundations, you would love it.
I really liked the all nighter! It doesn't oxidize on me at all. The Josie Maran brand rep at my work told me that if you try it with the finishing balm from Josie that it doesn't oxidize. I swatched it on my coworker with that underneath and it didn't oxidize! :)
the Clinique foundation is my favourite one, the key is to use tiny amount, apply with a kabuki brush, really work into the skin and go through the top with a damp beauty blender
or for less coverage apply directly with a damp beauty blender
I really want to buy it but I'm unsure about the colour. On the Clinique website it says it gets lighter when blended out, on the Sephora reviews people say it gets much darker when it oxydizes and youtubers I watch didn't mention it changing colour at all. What's your experience? I'm so confused haha
Just discovered you yesterday and I love you already! We have the same skin type, so I really enjoy your foundation videos 😊
The MUFE Water Blend is my everyday foundation - love it!
Could you talk about foundation that looks good in flash photography please!? 💕
Hi +Jaime Paige, please do the 5 best & worst contour/blush palette.
I LOVE the tarte Amazonia clay fountain. I have combination skin and it works amazing for dry patches and my oily t-zone!
I've wanted to try the Clinique one but I have pretty oily skin.. So I'm glad I watched this! Also you hair is completely amaze!!
My foundation cocktail consists of the following: I mix Josie Maran argan oil with cover fx candlelight drops I mix with either my mabeline fit me liquid foundation or my loreal infallible pro glow foundation on more fancy nights I use stila stay all day foundation and I love it.
you should make a playlist of these so we can watch them all at once!! great vid as always
good idea! i also have the other videos linked in the description box :)
I also love the Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturizer for sheer coverage or in the summer/humid areas.
you look so pretty in this video. digging the vamp lips 💕
thank you Cayla!!
You look AMAZING! Such a beautiful fall look with the dark lip and long waves. Slay it Jamie! 😍
The only one I've tried that Jaime reviewed is the Clinique
Beyond Perfecting and Jaime is right - it is very heavy and made me break out.
Wetnwild Coverall Foundation - not many shades but full matte coverage
Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Powerless - full coverage demi matte finish
Combo Oily Skin girl :)
Thanks for the video!
i'll have to try that!
Great video! Ellis Faas foundation is one of my all time favorite. It is more dewy, and i has a beautiful finish.
Slayyyy you look incredible !!!! Love the hair the makeup !
i have the all nighter foundation and it blends out perfectly on my skin! it could be because i'm really oily in my t zone but i don't know. i used a rt expert face brush and then a beauty blender to blend a little more
jamie,i love your channel. what do you think about the bareminerals foundations? or the mac foundations? could you do a video of best foundations for fdy skin? Thank you :)
LOVE THE HAIR, THE JACKET, and the NAILS 😊😊😊
I love Clinique Beyond Perfecting! It works better for me when I moisturize a lot and/or use a primer, preferably a silicone-y one like Smashbox.
Maybe during the vib sale
can you do this makeup look?
I LOVE the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation! I used a wet 'n wild foundation brush (from the pink and white collection) to buff it into the skin and then pounce with a damp beauty blender and I find it super easy to move. Just make you you have a good primer on!
I agree with you about the Urban decay all nighter. I'm currently still using mine but I usually mix it with another more hydration foundation so it's easier to blend. I've been loving it with the Too Faced Born this Way, I usually add just a little bit of the All nighter because the coverage is really great. Hope this helps... 😊
I'll have to try that out!!
Hey Jamie !
Could you make a video recommending primers , again, for ALL skin types as well? That would be great !! Love you !
that's on the list! ;)
Your hair, makeup, and outfits are ON POINT!!
