I noticed on your seated shoulder rotation test that you move your head as you rotate, I'm an older dude and turning my head with my shoulders I can also just about do 90 degrees i.e. the motion is no different to turning around to see which idiot behind me in the cinema didn't turn their mobile phone off. However, if I had to leave my head facing forward as in a golf swing, the limit is about 45 degrees. Wouldn't the test be a more accurate assessment if you had people keep eyes forward?
Thanks for the question Phil. Yes, looking straight ahead is more specific to the golf swing, though we'd expect you should still be able to turn the same amount whilst looking ahead, unless you have some kind of restriction in your neck. Possibly worth having that checked out?
Great advise, information and video examples to help all level of golfer on the course and at home. Well done guys
Thanks for the feedback Mark, really appreciate it and glad you enjoyed the session.
