This stage alone had a ton more depth than any other in the official game. They took full advantage of the stage's environment and gave it its own character. The trains for example were merely used as a QTE in the original while this mod spreads them generously over the whole level as a neat gimmick.

Man I wish this game actually got to use it's development time to the fullest. So what if the lighting engine wasn't as good as it is right now, Unleashed showed that the +10-year-old Hedgehog Graphics Engine 1 could still be used to great effect. Heck, Sonic Generations on the 8th Generation XBOX's looks amazing.

@@SuperUnknownPerson Well it's either fan voices or no voices. They can't just commission the ACTUAL voice actors as that would go against their contract with SEGA.

I love how Dark Omochao starts off giving you tips and then goes off on a sinister voice telling you that you might fail.

Finally a Sonic Forces mod that actually mades a totally new level and not just adds obstacles to a base level

You good sir and or madame lack a good imagination because I have been looking forward to something like this for a while now.
This is actually in my top 3 favorite sonic mods. They made AMAZING level design. Flashy to the eye, fast paced, big stage, multiple pathways, less areas that slow you down with clunky parkour.
They actually made a full on stage and that amazes me, and as a guy who loves infinite's character as villain this makes me love it even more.

Imagine this with a well animated cutscene with actual expressions (unlike actual forces) and the song without lyrics. This is really cool though.

The sonic fan base is fascinating isn't it? They've almost killed the franchise yet they've also saved it dozens of times.

This looks incredibly polished! You can tell a lot of effort went into this. There's new cutscenes, new music, new voice lines... this is seriously impressive stuff!

This genuinely is a lot better than anything I've seen from the actual game. It's lengthy, creative, seems to have lots of branching paths, and as others have said the trains are an excellent gimmick.
This just helps show even more what could've been. The hype i had leading up to this game was a lot. A resistance story with a darker tone? Hell yes. Then I finally got the game and was so... disappointed. Really wish Sonic forces was good...

@@YPhilou I'm surprised how Infinite is totally forgotten about in the IDW comics. Like they brought back the deadly six for the zombot arch, and Zavok plays a prominent role in the Bad Guy comics. Probably for the best since we'd wind up with Shadow the Hedgehog 2 (Whiny Edition) + Impudent Child DLC.

I already own the game so I'm gonna make a backup of it and put the overclocked mod on it.

I was so hyped read to hear fighting onward then the lyrics kick in and I’m like oh
They improved every single thing. The gameplay, level design, story, hell even the soundtrack, I think the new vocals sound great.
You see now this is how forces should haved looked like
-There are more background effects
-The levels are a lot longer
-There's a lot of unexpected obstacles
-and the feedback is phenomenal
And lastly I can actually feel the thrill within the level. AND THIS IS FAN MADE. Well done to the guy who made this.👏👏
Seeing the other members of the resistance in the background just makes this so much more immersive.

hello? what? excuse me?? this feels like another game not Forces at all. Didn't know that HE2 had a lot of potential, I'm assuming that Forces was just a test game for Sonic Team to experiment with the HE2.

The cutscenes are comic dubs and I love it
they really nailed it with the level design
fast and engaging
actually used the trains instead of them being for QTEs
they kept using the spaces for great 3D platforming instead of the levels we got which let you rush through the whole thing

I hate to say it, but this mod improves forces of a lot
I can really appreciate what this mod is trying to do. Seeing the Chaotix in the beginning of the level may seem small but it's something that's really important to me. In Forces you constantly hear your friends telling you how they're fighting a war over comms but you never actually get to see any of them do anything.
This gets me hype that in other stages you might pass though a battlefield or actually bust one of your friends out of trouble or vice versa.
The team behind this mod clearly had much more focus and dedication than the Sonic Team. Using assets that already exist, they managed to create a stage that looks like a genuine blast to play in.
My only gripe with it is at the end, where there was a chase camera with the train. The chase should've last longer than 5 seconds. If it's not going to be a chase sequence, then why bother? It felt so anticlimatic when it ends almost as fast as it started. Like Vanilla Sonic Forces.
Gotta love modders! This feels like it can be Forces 2.

An actually good forces level mod. It has nice flow and it doesn't feel bloated or too short all. This is how linear level design looks when it's put to well use

The benefit of getting a rushed Sonic game is that the fans will always try to mod and make it better than the actual product.
Really like the comic style cutscenes, makes the character feel a lot more expresive.
The voice acting's good enough to not be cringey. And I like how Infinite's almost in control of everything including the Main Menu and Autosave.

It’s crazy that only a few people with little to no budget managed to make a level more engaging than anything the actual developers put out. This is exactly what I was hoping Forces would’ve played like before release.

This is actually super fuckin sick. Not a fan of the cover, but the level itself is fuckin awesome looking, it uses infinite in such interesting ways. I like them also putting their own spin on the story with their own cutscenes n actors. That's so fuckin cool
This has to be something like an actual game. Though it’s too bad the developers can’t make a profit out of this unless they request for a collaboration to make an epic mod into an elusive DLC story which gets far better.

@@londonjackson8986 the Avatar was the highlight of the game basically. The Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic felt so heavy compared to the previous game. I don't hate the game but I know it could have beem a lot better. Infinite had soooo much potential but the whole "shadow gave me small scar, now I'm enraged" fiasco was extremely disappointing
