It didn't just extend the levels, it captures the true potential of these levels and gets creative. The expanded indoors section in Arsenal Pyramid and the whole mechanic with Shadow is insanely impressive. I can't wait to see this, and P-06 completed.
I actually love the Idea of a Character trying to Slow you down as you go through the Stage. Closest thing to a Shadow Boss fight we will ever get in the game.

Definitely one of the best level-extension mods and hope the moderate continue to expand future levels in this fashion. My only complaints are that the added sections feel a little empty, moreso in arsenal pyramid where there’s a lotta empty straight line boosting with not much to do. Sunset heights is pretty ok it just needs more city-scape scenery in the rail grinding section
I was following the sunset heights progress and i was so far pretty impressed on how it expands so well over the original design of the stage, but i didnt knew about the mini cutscenes and you chasing after Virtual Shadow and him attacking you in retaliation, that's just the cherry on top of this beautiful mod. I could had loved if you had an actual chase mini boss battle against shadow all of the sudden but its ok because it makes more sense to just chase after him and maybe later on somebody can make a proper Shadow boss battle, i mean if somebody did a battle against Chaos 0 there is chances for a Shadow Battle as well.
There is more here and additional touches like the bomber planes and barbed wire in the sunset stage are fantastic for sure but then there is parts like the beginning of Arsenal pyramid where it still looks too linear for my liking. Still appreciate the effort to make forces a better game and hope the developer of the mod can keep up the good work so far.
If only the stages were long, classic sonic has better speed, and if modern sonic didnt have alot of his abilities removed, this would’ve been a perfect game
Now we got some more Mods & addons to the Sonic Forces Stages that should have appeared in the Official Game. Arsenal Pyramid & Sunset Heights becomes more longer, better & exciting then it was before. For Arsenal Pyramid, the start of the level is much more extended as well as an addon Chase Sequence while heading inside the Pyramid Base, a 2D Section while in the Base but is brief. And Sunset Heights, it's the same at the start, but gets extended after heading towards the original end of the stage with a special cut-in scene where Sonic & Shadow (Phantom Ruby Version) cross paths & Shadow chases him (A strong resembles & reference to Sonic Adventure 2 where Sonic & Shadow met for the first time) & tries to attack Sonic with his Chaos Spear, plus a brief chase with the Areal Attack from the Egg Bombers & with a more sensible ending where Shadow is waiting for Sonic at the more original location then in the original. The fans are definitely making Sonic Forces even more fun then it was when it was first released. I love all they are doing to it and I hope they continue making more Re-Imagined Stages in this game. Thank you for the showcase of this, Vel. You are enjoying this was well & wishing that all this was in the original game. Not sure when the next one will be. Only time will tell for the time being. Lol.

The levels aren't to the extent of Generations, but it would have been the same, in the sense that it would have been a game with good gameplay and a pretty standard story. It's crazy that the fans can make a more interesting design and the devs themselves! I mean, the one with Sunset Heights where you could potentially have Shadow try to mess with you as you're going around the stage is a pretty interesting idea! Honestly, if they ever think about Remaking Forces with slight adjustments, I think it would actually turn out to be a good game, but at this point, I'm just ready for Sonic Frontiers.
I have an idea to fix the gameplay a bit though idk if it is possible but basically the most boring part is the boost system. It not only makes the horrible designed level even more boring but also cuts off some of the music in this game which are the best thing in this game. So my idea won't fix the physics. Of the game but I suggest make the boost meter decrease faster and make rings or tricks a way of replenishing only a little oof the energy that way it won't be as simple as pushing one button to beat the level and will force you to be strategic when using the boost formula. Though you don't have to find a way to make that happen, I just wanted share a thought

I actually liked Sonic Forces, but I always had an issue with how long the levels were even when I was defending the game to the depths of the Earth. Sonic Forces isn't a bad game, but mods like this shows just how much potential Sonic Forces had. If there's ever a definitive edition or a Sonic Forces Ultimate, SEGA showed get in touch with whoever made the mod to really make it a definitive version. I'm not claiming Forces is the best game, but I don't think it's the worst Sonic game either. I will say this about Forces, at least it's not broken and boring, both issues Sonic Boom Rise Of Lyric suffered from. I mean that games so bad, that not even I will defend it. I'm a huge loyal Sonic fan, but I'm not delusional lol.

You should also install QoL mods and The boss mods, like chaos Zavok and infinite, then when you beat the game you play over clocked

Incredible. The custom parts of the level are actually better. And the overall scripting of the level is just as amazing as an official work.

Even though Forces is notorious for having short levels, we seem to forget the fact that Tropical Resort Act 4 exists
