Love listening to you speak about your little people. Things keep changing with kids. Their routines change the household flow and the spaces they need as they grow, change the house too. One minute they all love being on your bed, then we're all gathered at the kitchen island and then they become teens and want to be alone in their grotto's or off with the partners. Happens so quickly. You are right to obsess over these things - it's what makes you a special mother.
It’s always hard to watch your children grow up 😊 My daughter will be leaving home in September to work in the NHS in London as a newly qualified nurse. We are so proud as her parents to see how hard she has worked to achieve her degree. But we will be beyond sad 😢 to see her leave home. You have done an amazing job with your boys. Enjoy their childhood they grow up so quickly. Xx ❤
About bath water. In Japan whole family share the bath water for the night but we wash before soak. So all bathroom is built with wash area and shower next to the tub. Then after bath, we use the water for laundry. Washing machine has the system and hose which filter the water automatically.
Definitely get those holidays booked in! We are a family of 5. My son is 18 this year. We went to Iceland in February half term, and it’s the first time that he didn’t want to come away with us. It’s such a strange feeling, as I felt he was really missing out. But at the same time, they need that independence x
Love watching you and your family. You’re so sweet and just so calm and patient with everything and everyone ❤️ series suggestions: queen of the south and ted lasso x
Lovely video Emily. I do think all of the Kiwi boxes your boys did helped them to develop the patience and skills needed for Lego. Also loving spring x
Growing up we all used to share the bath water and wash our hair, dad first, then older kids and as the water cooled it was mum and the younger kids together, oh the Sunday night routine. Great fun, lol xxxxxxx
I can't believe how fast they've all grown up! I've been following you and watching your videos since Fraser was maybe around 5 or 6? And now he's about to be 13... It's crazy how fast times flies with children! My son is turning 9 this year and I sometimes can't really believe it, haha.
We have always done air bnb holidays abroad with the kids and it works out so much cheaper and better as you can all be together and have a bit more space as there’s like a living room kitchen etc. x
Love all of your videos Emily! Super thanks for all of your honesty and inspiration ❤ wow I realize after you said it my oldest will be 18 in 6 years too! The time went by way too fast definitely want to do more in these 6 years thanks so much Emily for making me think about these next 6 years! what’s your eye shadow? Omg it’s so lovely on your beautiful face!
Emily your are an amazing mother, this vlog really relaxed me also made me feel one with the family Its so nice to have time like this really appreciate all the hard work you do to enjoy your time with the kids, your doing an amazing job, taking care of your health manging youtube and the family remember your awesome 😊☺️
Loved this video❤️ Matt killed the Lego challenge 😂 we totally hang laundry on our bed too 😁 and 100% you deserve new bath water after 3 boys have probably peed in it 😂 I’m facing all the things you’re talking about facing in 6 yrs!! I’m there.. and it’s definitely bittersweet! Love that you are already reading and planning ahead for things to do while Fraser is still home!! It won’t get too sad until Caleb goes.. after my 2nd was off to college, I did have to talk myself out of a slight sadness!! They come back often and I try to always have a home cooked meal and keep the same holiday traditions!! There’s no place like home! Also, you and Matt get regular date nights again❤🎉 xoxo
Netflix series recommendation; 'Heartland'!!! - we are COMPLETELY obsessed with it, have been since the kids were babies (our daughter's first word was "horse" because of the theme music/images). I think Netflix only has from like series 9 atm, but if I remember correctly, I think Prime has it from series 1-8 maybe??! - I'm curious to know if you've ever seen it cos it's set in Canada 😆😆😄 xx
Hello! I LOVE your chatty sharing videos. It's crazy how time flies! I think keeping the bunk bed in the spare room would be a good idea. So when friends come to stay you can use it. OR maybe include Jackson in the bed choosing. It might help him like his bed more if he chose it to begin with? My kiddos ALL want to sleep with me. ages 2, 4, 7, 10. So we put the two bunkbeds in my room. so we're all together but each in our own beds. I know it's a short term thing. soon they'll be indipendant and living away. LOVE YOU~!!! ~Jj
Usually it’s either grass pollen or tree pollen with hayfever I believe. I think early spring it’s tree and more towards summer it’s grass pollen. You can get injections from your gp if it’s really bad. X
My plan is doing a safari with my love and our daughter !! I’ve got one child so much easier for planning .. but knowing you through your videos , I’m sure ur gonna plan sth amazing for your family !!! Wishing u all the best ❤
When you said sharing bath water. I thought no they've been out playing and will be sweaty and dirty. 😂 Good for Jackson won the Lego racing game. Take care. 💖
Love you guys soon much ❤️ it seems the older they get the less we do for them. It's sad they all have to grow up and my daughter l wish they were small l miss my daughter small and time goes by so quickly. We gotta cherish every moment. Thank you for a beautiful video. ♥️
Some show recommendations from netflix - *Firefly lane (its a lighthearted drama type show about two best friends and it cuts back and fore to their teens to their mid 20's to their 40's) I love this and have recently finished it. *Dead to me - this is fab, it stars christina applegate and is a thriller/comedy type program that had me gripped from the start, I think there is 3 series. *Good Girls - LOOOOOOVE this *The Night Agent - Ive just started watching this and I loved the first two episodes *The Maid - this is a lovely story that had me hooked and I binge watched this in a few days but it can be a bit sad in parts (I dont like sad stuff but this was ok) and the storyline is a very serious one, but absolutely loved this! I can't think of any more but would love recommendations also.
Hi Emily I love these out and about/ at home videos especially, you make. You choose some really nice music to go with them also. Your boys seem to get on so well together . Jackson is really clever at building his Lego . When you go on holiday wouldn’t it be better to hire a Villa in say America ?? Enjoy your week .
In each of your vlogs I see (I suspect not only me) how you miss little baby. Children grow up so fast. When they are tiny we are tired but later we miss that diaper change, strollers, heavy changing bags and tiptoeing because the baby just fell asleep . You are a beautiful mom ❤
I totally get where you coming from. I'm a single mum who works full time. As the girls are getting older there is less and less time at the end of the day. Sometimes I don't eat dinner until 9.45 as the girls get fed at my mums after school. I keep hoping for that lotto win to allow me to give up work. You're doing fab and love your day in the lives. Xxx
Great video, Emily! I enjoyed watching it! We are family of 5 as well, my kids are still all small, all under 6, but I am already dreading the time when they won't need me as much anymore and i ALWAYS feel so guilty when I don't have the time to play with them 😞 It is very difficult to achieve that work-kids balance 🤯
It was totally normal to share bath water in our home with 3 boys but...Mom always used it first when it was clean and fresh😉. Then added fresh bubbles for the kids. Don't give up on holidays with your kids as they age into adulthood. My husband is going on a 3 month African expedition with our 26 and 29 year old sons. Our 32 year old has a partner and 2 kiddos so he's not so free to join, but we've joined with him and his wife and the kids in Costa Rica on holiday for 3 weeks. As they get older it's just a bit harder to align everyone's holiday time. Is Canada 🇨🇦 on your holiday destination list?
I just turned 59. We got married at 19 and 23. I had my 2 boys at 19 and 23. Our 2 sons moved out at 19 and 23. I had the WORST struggle with becoming "empty nesters"! We are so lucky that our oldest son and his family live just 2 miles from us. Our youngest son and his family live just 1 mile from us. I currently help with the youngest son's 2 kids. I babysat them Mon-Fri, 10-12 hrs a day for 6 years. I cherish those times!❤️ Now I go in the mornings and afternoons several days a week cooking breakfast for them, get them ready for school, give them rides to school and rides home from school, taking them to Dr and Dentist appts. I took my oldest son's 3 children that live here to pre-school, picked them up, and gave them rides home from junior high through senior high until the 2 oldest boys started to drive. I buy lunch and have lunch with the 3 youngest (ages 10,10, and 12) at school. Being so involved with 5 of our 6 grandkids has really helped me feel a lot more involved with them. Our first grandchild lives in Arizona with her Mom and Stepfather. I'd love to take a trip out to see her. It's been 20 years since I've seen her in person. We talk on the phone on holidays and send her texts and emails every couple of months, but it's not the same as being involved in person. I totally understand the quandary of them growing up and feeling like, "Well, now what am I supposed to do?" It looks like you and Matt are great parents! I doubt they'll want to be too far from their great parents or their best friends in their brothers! Just keep doing what you're doing! You're doing great! I love your channel! ❤😁❤
We have the British Airways credit card (I’m British but live in the States and all my family are in the UK) and it’s saved us a ton on flights (family of 6). Definitely worth looking into a card that gives you airmiles to reduce costs. We use AirBnB a lot or stay in apart-hotels like Staybridge Suites that are one bedroom suites and accommodate more people in two combined rooms essentially.
I suffer really bad with hayfever as well every year, but i have been having the injection for it, and its helped so much then just have tablets when i need to. xx
Sometimes it hits me how many summers I have with my boy and reality hits to soak it all up💙 I love your upstairs carpets in the bedrooms! What make / colour is it😍? I’m sure you’ve mentioned before x
Yes you can get a test! My dad did a test here in the U.S and he found he was allergic to quite a few trees and weeds. Also, my oldest is 8 and we’ve barely been able to travel because of finances and it makes me so sad to think we don’t have that many years left 😢
We all the used the same bath water when we were kids but we didn’t have central heating we had a back boiler worked by coal and could only afford coal at the weekends ☹️
We've just spent 2 weeks in Thailand. We had 4 nights in Bangkok and 7 nights in Pattaya seaside then visited family too it was so hot 🔥 We hope go to Dubai next like you guys. I often get into my sons bath water his only 4 so isn't that dirty saves running another bath xx
There’s so little evening as the kids get older. I struggle with it as well with 16 yr old twins and an 8 yr old. The twins only want to talk after 9:00pm when it’s time for hubby and I.
Hi Emily, sure it is totally fine to use your kids bath water and not to waste it.our children grew in our belly, are part of us and even peed in our belly at some point so ...😉😆, why not..?Except our kids play in the bathtub for so long that the water gets cold, and we have to keep adding more warm water.
I was in boarding school & there was a bath rota (15 mins each I think) & I used to use the girl before me’s water as she was a v clean, scented girl who always had nice ‘smellies’ (toiletries) and a bath full of bubbles ;)
The bathwater thing! Sharing is better for the environment. BUT if you're worried about dirt: wash up in the shower first then do the bath. That's what a friend of mine does who is from Japan. Everyone showers and cleans up in the shower. (takes 3 minutes.) and then they share bath water. TTYL! ~Jj
Oh life does just whizz by in the blink of an eye doesn’t it. We are empty nesters now and it took me quite a while to get used to it. My eldest turned 30 and I still see a little blonde toddler when I look at her! 🥺
Hi . Sounds like tree pollen for hubby's allergies . I'm now drying all clothing and bedding indoors . Gutted about that . Who doesn't like fresh line dried bedding . Benadryl allergy tablets with acrivastine work best for me . Hope that helps x
Hi Emily just watched this video and Saw your possible Visit to SA please if you do come to SA it will be lovely to ever get the chance to meet you just know you have a mum fan from South Africa ...
Another great vlog. I get what you mean they are up later and mine come to life at night you don’t see them all day my oldest will be 16 this year and your right they don’t need as much attention as the two year old but when it’s all quiet by eight the big ones are up til late I’m usually in bed first. Also can any one let me know what the night agent is about thanks x.
Hey Emily, hope you’re all well. I’m happy, good and doing well thank you good evening love this Weekend Day in the life video. I’ve have really enjoyed this Weekend Day in the life. @@AlexanderAMY yes, I have watched Emily’s videos since before she got pregnant with Jackson. And, yes they help with the main level but it is rare to see them help with the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Hi Emily , love watching your family growing up and trips out . I can’t believe that with all your space and laundry room that you have to put washing hanging round your bed lol ❤
Get a VPN and buy tickets from another country even though you are in England. My husband, daughter, and I save $700 by changing the VPN to Cuba and then buying tickets. Look up how to get cheaper flights with a VPN. Airlines are scamming us so using the VPN is just scamming them back.
Try some local honey its supposed to ease the symptoms because you are ingesting the pollen worth a go heard its really works but it has to honey local to you xx
Love listening to you speak about your little people. Things keep changing with kids. Their routines change the household flow and the spaces they need as they grow, change the house too. I think Fraser will want to continue going on holidays with you for a long time❤️.
My puppy loves watching Kiki on the tv 😄x
The Night Agent is really good! Me & my husband has just finished watching it! Hope you all have a lovely weekend! 🤍

Netflix the Night Agent is pretty good

Please come to South Africa, love your channel. Watching you from the lovely city of Cape town in South Africa.
We would love to 🥰
My son is 13 this year and I’ve never thought about that 😢. I’m off to book all the trips before he’s too old and cool to come with us 😂. X
Emily how do you do it all your a real life superwoman and the best mother I know 💖💗
I love the music you play. Xx
Usually it’s either grass pollen or tree pollen with hayfever I believe.
I think early spring it’s tree and more towards summer it’s grass pollen.
You can get injections from your gp if it’s really bad. X
I do that Emily unless my daughter wees in it then I refuse but ye saves water and saves me waiting to refill it when I just need to relax
Matt I laughed so hard when u said "peas don't do that" to Jackson lol
I always take a lightweight backpack to carry all the coats etc. A lot easier than carrying them.
My plan is doing a safari with my love and our daughter !! I’ve got one child so much easier for planning .. but knowing you through your videos , I’m sure ur gonna plan sth amazing for your family !!! Wishing u all the best ❤
Hi Emily brilliant video as always keep up the amazing work xxxx
Oh hi Emily.❤ I am from South Africa, Cape Town. Really love watching all your videos.

Some show recommendations from netflix -
*Firefly lane (its a lighthearted drama type show about two best friends and it cuts back and fore to their teens to their mid 20's to their 40's) I love this and have recently finished it.
*Dead to me - this is fab, it stars christina applegate and is a thriller/comedy type program that had me gripped from the start, I think there is 3 series.
*Good Girls - LOOOOOOVE this
*The Night Agent - Ive just started watching this and I loved the first two episodes
*The Maid - this is a lovely story that had me hooked and I binge watched this in a few days but it can be a bit sad in parts (I dont like sad stuff but this was ok) and the storyline is a very serious one, but absolutely loved this!
I can't think of any more but would love recommendations also.
Thanks Lindsey xx
Such a lovely vlog❤ the lego looks amazing , im gonna buy it thanks to you 😊🙏😘
Emily.....our kids are all grown up and they still like to holiday with us lol

Series suggestion, Last Kingdom, don't know if it would be your jam, but I really loved it ❤
The Chosen is excellent!🤲Especially since Easter is still on our minds.

AirBnb works the best for us when we travel as a family. 😊
I think it makes sense to use your family’s bath water. Me & my hubby now get in each other’s bath water 😊

Here are some holiday places: Hungary Budapest, beware summers there are realy hot. Philippines island hopping in the Visaya region.
We've just spent 2 weeks in Thailand. We had 4 nights in Bangkok and 7 nights in Pattaya seaside then visited family too it was so hot 🔥
We hope go to Dubai next like you guys. I often get into my sons bath water his only 4 so isn't that dirty saves running another bath xx
Ted Lasso. So funny.
Shrinking on Apple TV is amazing highly recommend
Come to Zambia 🇿🇲 our tourist capital is livingstone home to the mosi-o-tunya (Victoria falls).
Oh yes we would love this Naomim xx
There’s so little evening as the kids get older. I struggle with it as well with 16 yr old twins and an 8 yr old. The twins only want to talk after 9:00pm when it’s time for hubby and I.
Hi Emily, sure it is totally fine to use your kids bath water and not to waste it.our children grew in our belly, are part of us and even peed in our belly at some point so ...😉😆, why not..?Except our kids play in the bathtub for so long that the water gets cold, and we have to keep adding more warm water.
Well done Jackson......you're going to have to show you're dad how to do that with the Lego Challenge, cos he's pretty hopeless :) x
😂
I was in boarding school & there was a bath rota (15 mins each I think) & I used to use the girl before me’s water as she was a v clean, scented girl who always had nice ‘smellies’ (toiletries) and a bath full of bubbles ;)
The Last Of Us, Ted Lasso, Schitt's Creek, and Ozark!
I did enjoy my visit Emily ❤️ Have a lovely week
The bathwater thing! Sharing is better for the environment. BUT if you're worried about dirt: wash up in the shower first then do the bath. That's what a friend of mine does who is from Japan. Everyone showers and cleans up in the shower. (takes 3 minutes.) and then they share bath water.
TTYL!

So interesting! X
Oh life does just whizz by in the blink of an eye doesn’t it. We are empty nesters now and it took me quite a while to get used to it. My eldest turned 30 and I still see a little blonde toddler when I look at her! 🥺
😢
Didn't realise until this video just how much removing the summer house at the end of the garden has opened up that view!!
Matt, I think you crashed and burned at that challenge im afraid, peas don't do that again 🤣🤣🤣 brilliant video as always Emily! X
So funny with the challenge 😂 love it x
Wr always share bath water, we don't have a shower so we have to watch pennies. Always cleanest first through to muckiest. Sorry but don't judge.
Travel is so expensive what I paid pre coivd return for 2 is now the return cost for 1 😢
Serie suggestions: young Sheldon, the rookie, shantaram, trying, the neighborhood, mr. Queen ( k-drama ), the night agent,
Hi . Sounds like tree pollen for hubby's allergies . I'm now drying all clothing and bedding indoors . Gutted about that . Who doesn't like fresh line dried bedding . Benadryl allergy tablets with acrivastine work best for me . Hope that helps x
Schitts Creek or Derry Girls are great shows!!
I think get Jackson a double bed, the bunks look great but not really practical! 🇦🇺💕🏠🥰

I recommend California U.S.A. ❤️❤️💙💙
Emily Norris, do your boys ever pick up/clean their own rooms and pick up the bathrooms? Just wondering.
If you watch her videos, they do help clean 😊
Yes they do every day, and I still have to do all this 😂 xx
@@mrsemilynorris I noticed they help with the main level of the house all the time but just not much with their bedrooms or the bathrooms.
I always share bath water! Did as kids too. Unless they're caked in mud of course then I wouldn't 😅
Get a VPN and buy tickets from another country even though you are in England. My husband, daughter, and I save $700 by changing the VPN to Cuba and then buying tickets. Look up how to get cheaper flights with a VPN. Airlines are scamming us so using the VPN is just scamming them back.
The Rookie on Hulu
Matt😂😂😂
It’s not a series but the film nobody is good xx
My husband and I started “Beef” last night and it is really good!
Try some local honey its supposed to ease the symptoms because you are ingesting the pollen worth a go heard its really works but it has to honey local to you xx
Why not take kids to Canada to see your family xx
