Plus, we really don't see too many variations of rank in any of the movies we're given, so my mistaking the Ancient for an Elder is understandable.

Both are great leaders but one has far more experience and has a clan that’s far more connected with their mother world while the lost tribe is a tribe that by its name sake has probably been away for a very long time at least to a humans perspective since it’s never really been stated how long a predator can actually live but I mean it’s probably somewhere along the line of 2-3 thousand years so then being missing for at max 200-300 hundred years is just a small chapter in their lives especially if they can come back with only the best of their clan after all living long is a privilege provided by skill and experience alone in their species

I remember when the first one came out. I saw it at the movies at least 10 times. The new one on Hulu is absolutely amazing. I'm Native so it was great to have my people represented well.
