This song sums up the last 5 years of my life
I decided to come back and listen to this song after not listening to it in a few years. I kind of attribute it to a tragedy that happened to a close friend back in 2014. It brought me a lot of comfort but it also kind of brings back a lot of emotion for me. The Lord always gives a song in the night.
The interesting thing about this particular song (well, about the soloist) is that I stumbled upon Sarah Simon's (now Sarah LaVere) youtube channel as well as the Harmony Trio channel several years prior to this video coming out. I loved their videos and found sheet music for a lot of the songs they did so I could sing them with groups at my church. I was even pleasantly surprised to find we live in the same state! Fast forward to the fall of 2014. I already owned a few HBBC cds and was buying a few for a friend for her birthday. I decided I would buy myself the God Did It All cd. When I turned on this song, I recognized the soloists voice within seconds and rushed to confirm that I was right! I was so excited to kind of see where Sarah ended up after not seeing new youtube videos for awhile! What a blessing!
You sang this at our Church, Harvest Baptist Church, Mount Vernon, Washington. Our choir sang it Sunday, thanks for the inspiration! Such a true song about our Lord!

I love this song! Makes me miss Sarah though... She is a very dear friend of mine from her home church! We sang together all the time when she was here!

I've never actually met sarah Simon, but I've come close lots of times,as I'm at Heartland (the college she is at) all the time. Although I've never actually met her, I can say she has lived a pretty good testimony , and maybe one day I'd like to follow in her steps . God has given her a great voice and from what I can tell, she is a really sweet person, great friend, and fun to be around. I have to say I'm kinda jealous that you got the opportunity to sing with her! :) I've watched several of your videos in the past and I have to say y'alls harmony was great, I wish I had young people in my Church to sing with!
