- A quick remedy for a flashing intake/drain light on a Miele Dishwasher. In this case, the non- return was bad.

I the same problem. Instead orf replacing the valve I just put some olive oile inside, let it bath in it for few minutes and it works like new. »The rubber got soft with oil and does not hold the metal pellet inside,. Thanks for video. It is because of you, I understood that is the valve is making the problems.

What do you do in this case?
water drains well
check, the water valve if it's turned off, and check your water pressure, possible low water pressure. if water pressure is good then the next possible part would be the water intake valve
Where did you find that door interlock tool..?
I broke that piece off an auto door opener for a different model dishwasher to use as a tool.
Helpful but have to say, I can't believe you didn't turn the power off...... safety issue!
I usually do disconnect the power before working in electrical components. This fix does not require the power to be off.
So I may have to replace this part that it shows in the video….. if it’s not to do with filter not being clogged.
Try to remove and clean the filter, check the non return value, and make sure the ball is not getting stuck. If the seal is bad or if the bon return valve is in 2 halves, replace it. Also, check the drain line. If it's hooked up to an air trap on the counter, remove it and run it directly to the disposal or drain under the counter.
My uniy fills to a certain area, probably the full mark and then i get the error. It drains fine . I wonder if its circulation pump?
What model is your dishwasher? Did you get any fault codes?

I have just replaced the relay and pressure switch. I cleaned the temp sensor contacts and put new temp sensor
I am wondering if circulation pump isn't working as th😂 drain pump is
It starts to fill then starts to beep before circulation
As it beeps it is filling and pausing while error light is beeping and flashing intake drain
It filled right up. Then drained and is repeating while beeping. No circulation
It's possible the water intake valve is jammed or clogged. Check the connection under the sink.turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and disconnect the water intake (as per the user manual). Check the seal filter and restrictor, and make sure they are clear and in good condition. If it's connected to hot water, the seal will melt over time and sieze the valve. Also, calcium buildup can destroy the water intake
