OMG OMG OMG whereto start, possibly the best soundtrack on a UA-cam video this year. Space Oddity a much underrated album and Young Americans pissed a lot of people off but I loved it right from the start. Now, Maryport, what a place, we stayed there for the weekend in 2019, before Covid on the Marina and what a great site it was. The toilet block is new as are the pods. The town is run down but shops that are there were all independent. The nightlife was a surprise we went to a pub which was very quiet until 10 pm when the young people came back from a day in Carlisle (I understand this is a regular thing) and it was a great night.
Good - short drive down the road is the New Balance Factory Shop. Bad - If it’s windy the yacht mast lines clanking.
